Received my denial letter this afternoon at 4pm. Here are my stats for those interested:

- Applied with 133.32 points and completed all pre-reqs EXCEPT MCB2010 and DEP2004
- Alternates for Spring 2020 are those with scores 133.67 - 134.5
- Accepted for Spring 2020 are those with scores 134.5-153

Congrats to all who have been accepted! ? wish you all the best. See y'all in Summer 2020!! Now off to take care of myself and get some R&R before then ✌️

I’m sure once you complete those 2 Prereqs you will be a shoe in! That’s potentially 8 points. Good luck with Summer 2020!!

@Olanjax My original plan for the HESI was to pass it with flying colors! LOL, I ended up with an 87.43% cumulative score. I was flying through the questions too fast, knowing that as soon as I went to the next question, I was thinking I misread the question. I plan to retake the HESI in December when I'm done with MCB. What about you?

@cking27 Oh I tripled checked my scores before I even applied! That's weird that you got the alternative acceptance letter, the cutoff score for acceptance is 134.5...? Definitely email them! Have you considered retaking the HESI?

@FutureNurseRN2021 Oh yes, I'm guaranteed a spot for the summer term hahaha, can't they just accept me for that cohort now? The wait to hear back from them this time around was eating me alive ?

Me too thats why I am a little confused and think they may not have updated my math grade from falls application because I did have a 134.5 for fall but it absolutely should have increased by at least 1 pt due to an A from this summer vs C (from 2011 mind you)

I maxed out the hesi so there isn't really a point in me retaking it. Ive also heard all alternates have been getting in the past couple semesters but I don't want to be an alternate if I earned straight forward acceptance.

I have called and emailed already. I am sure they are just out of the office because it's friday. I just wanted to let everyone here know to recheck EVERYTHING if you were close.

@cking27 Did you call the nursing department today by any chance to check on your points and see if they used the higher grade?

Hello, Jess. I will retake the HESI in December as well. If you want to study together, that would be nice.

For sure! I don't plan to study too much now that I know the layout of the test, but I'd like to bounce off some of the content with another person in the same boat as me, kinda helps me keep myself accountable. Are you on Facebook? If you are, message me (Jessie Wright) and we can talk there!

I called a couple times Friday and left a voicemail as well as a lengthy email on Friday and called twice today and haven’t gotten ahold of anyone. It’s a little frustrating; however, I imagine they’re getting flooded with emails and calls.

They are calling alternates and offering spots this morning. Make sure you are by your phone if you were an alternate.

@cking27 Do you know what spot you were on the list by any chance? I was also selected as an alternate.

I was very near the top.

@cking27 are you part of the facebook fscj nursing spring 2020 group?
