Hi everyone. This is my first time posting here. I am in the middle of tackling the pre-reqs for FSCJ nursing program. I am really hoping to get into the SPring 2012 program (fingers crossed!!) But I'm a little confused about something.
I will be taking my last two classes in the fall, Micro and AP2. My advisor told me that I can apply for the program while I am taking these classes....my question is, if I apply to the program before the Oct. 1 deadline how will they be able to calculate my points for Micro and AP2 if I have not yet fully completed those classes? Will I have to wait until the next fall program? I am really hoping that is not the case, but I'm thinking my advisor may have given me th wrong information.

what were your points shiver? i emailed and called, they said conditionally accepted candidates were emailed friday, which means everyone...conditionally means as long as you pass a class your in....or pass the drug test/physical and background check. ah well. keep your fingers crossed, they are sending out real letters to everyone this week.
So basically if everyone turns in the info, everyone gets in?? The email the health lady sent me about stuff being due on the 14th not the 6th only went to 135 people. So are we in or not? Confused.
If I did my points right I should have a little over 204 points, since I'm in micro and haven't completed it. Although my AP stat credit is what's concerning me.

Unfortunately they don't give full credit for AP classess- I had the same problem and I didn't get in last semester because I had a bunch of AP classes. You have to have the AP college board send confirmation to FSCJ (they won't take it from a transfer transcript) that you passed the AP exams. Then FSCJ will only give points equivalent to a "C" since no true letter grade is assigned since you were exempt from taking that class. They handle it like a pass/fail. So your are basically penalized for taking advanced classes.
