I haven't found anything for spring 2014 hopefuls so I wanted to put it out there and meet any other applicants. I am currently taking chem over the summer & I am enrolled in micro for fall. I took my NAT yesterday. I will be applying in Aug for a spring start with 204.32 points. I am hoping to make it in spring rather than having to finish micro and need those points, pushing me back to summer start. Almost 2 years of pre-reqs and sweating it out, it's almost our turn to apply I am stoked!!!
Yes please :).. thank you so much
Not a problem at all.
Quality Points:
PSB-NAT score: 120
Nursing Prerequisites: 120
Health-related work experience: 20
A: 4 points
B: 3 points
C: 2 points
Grade Calculation:
Bsc 2085: 4 credit hours
Bsc 2086: 4 credit hours
Mcb 2010: 4 credit hours
Mac 1105: 3 credit hours
Hum____: 3 credit hours
Dep 2004: 3 credit hours
Enc 1101: 3 credit hours
Psy 1012: 3 credit hours
Syg 2000: 3 credit hours
You mulitply the grade you got time the number of credit hours. So if you got an "A" in A&P 1 it would be 4 x 4 which is 16. You do that for all of your classes and then add them up. Your score will be out of 120.
For the NAT
You take the raw scores for Academic Aptitude, Reading comprehension, and Natural science. Add the raw scores up and then multiply the sum by .64
Then you will want to add your score from your grades and the socre that you got from your NAT and that is will be the total score that you will apply with.
@gperez1224 I got the Dean of the Nursing Program to email me the application packet, if you like I could forward it to you (:
