FSCJ Nursing-Summer 2015

Since the Summer 2015 semester is "Days Only" - if selected for the program, is anyone planning to quit their job (if you work days)? Or, do you plan on working full time/part time while attending?

I will not be working. Hoping financial aid will help cover a few things while my husband covers the rest.

Hey Jaturner1994 - since you applied last semester and missed by a couple points, i figured you would know - so I have a question for you:
Do you know if the points for nursing school entrance are calculated based off of your HESI score cummlative percentage points + your grades from your prereqs....or, if your points are calculated from the 4 HESI subject scores (math, reading, bio and a&p) + your grades from your prereqs??

hey, ey, the hesi points in calc by multiply each individual section by 1.2 and then dividing by 4 i believe, then you add your points from classes

In the packet I picked up today it looks like the final day to submit your application for Fall 2015 is on April 1st. Can anyone confirm this or do I have to go back up to North Campus/call them to confirm?

Hi All I am applying for FSCJ ADN for the summer class as well. I am filling out the application and had a few rather basic questions. Did you all turn in the entire packet or just the actual few pages we fill out? Is the rubric just an FYI for us or do we fill that out as well? And last It says to include an unofficial copy of our transcript from Connections. Did you just print your unofficial transcript or do we do the degree audit print that and include as well? Thanks for helping with rather basic questions!

The only page they took for the application is the one that has your name, SSN and contact information. I included a printout of both the unofficial transcript A's the degree audit just to be safe. She took both.

Thanks so much, so the page where you add the courses and grades you have gotten is not included? I appreciate the quick answer as I keep trying to reach Cheryl James to no avail.

I just went to campus to turn in a degree audit, because I didn't send it in with my application a few weeks ago. The receptionist at the front desk told me that I didn't need it. She said the only things you need are: unofficial transcript, HESI score, BLS CPR verification, and the front page of the application.

Boy, I hope she knows her stuff, because I don't want to be disqualified!

Hey everyone! I'm so glad I found this website...I just got accepted into FSCJ and I'm moving to Jax in a few months without really knowing anyone :/ but I'm trying to apply for fall (2015). I heard they changed the test to HESI and I'm guessing they changed the packet too.

Can anyone send me the new application packet (for 2015) to [email protected] ?? It would be greatly appreciated! :)

And does anyone know the deadline date to apply for FALL 2015?
