FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016

I haven't seen a thread for FSCJ Spring 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Who all is planning on applying for this term start? If anyone is in the program already, any advice??

Hey guys. So I'm freaking out about my application submission. I have transcripts from two other schools which were evaluated when I first started at FSCJ. I was told which pre-req's I needed for Nursing. So, when I submitted my application for Nursing last week, I didn't have my transcripts evaluated again. I didn't see the reason for it. Does that matter?

I'm pretty sure once they are evaluated they don't need to be evaluated again? But I could be wrong.

Ms Cheryl just returned my phone call. She said I need to come up there and fill out the form specifying whether I want days or nights. So just a heads up to everyone that didn't fill one out when you turned in your app last week!

I got an email from her yesterday saying that as well, but I went up there on Friday though thinking it needed to be done before the 1st. It takes all of two seconds to fill it out, they had a stack of them sitting there on the counter.

If you didn't choose nights or days Cheryl will call to confirm, Nancy told me in the nursing office.

This was the email I received from her

"Good morning,

A copy of the form is taped down on the front desk as a reminder for those who want to apply for evening and weekend. Students must ask for the form and fill it out and turn it in. Please fill out one of those forms so that it maybe attached to your application.

Thank you and have a great day!"

I am sure if you didn't fill out the form she will contact you, it just makes it easier for her if you go up there and fill the form out. That way she doesn't have to back track and make a bunch of calls.

Do you think you still have to fill it out even if you don't want nights/weekend since she only mentioned that? And not days?

POWife07: I would think so just because in the email that I sent to her I told her I wanted days and that I had even wrote days on to the top of the envelope that had all of my stuff in it, and she still asked for me to come fill one out. So I would think? But I'm not completely sure.

Jess_youmans: I also wrote my preference on the envelope but I called right now anyway and gave my preference over the phone..& she said she'd pass it on to Mrs. James. I don't think is necessary for you to drive out there. I would call again to make sure :)

update! Dorothy just called me back saying that Ms. James needs me to come in to fill the form out. :yawn: Bummer. She tried seeing if she could just mail me the letter but turns out they'll need it for determining the seats and all that. Guess I'll be making my way out there either today or tomorrow. (Coming from beaches)
