FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016

Hello!

I haven't seen a thread for FSCJ Spring 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Who all is planning on applying for this term start? If anyone is in the program already, any advice??

@POWife07 - When I submitted my application I asked and was given a separate paper to indicate which I preferred (nights). Maybe try calling to see if you can have your choice added?

I called this morning and the lady told me that she couldn't help me bc Cheryl James was out today and she's the only one that has access to the applications. So she transferred me to her voicemail and I left a message :-/

So many people I see are wanting nights...is one better than the other? Or is it just for personal reasons? Just a topic to help get our minds off waiting! :-)

Maybe alot want nights so they can work during day? Not sure, I've never heard of any differences. I am hoping for days.

I am hoping for days as well. I would love nights but if majority of the classes are at deerwood that's pretty far from me :-)

Nights has majority of classes at Deerwood while days has the majority of classes at North. Also, if they keep the nights clinical schedules the same as before, nights have clinicals on Saturday & Sunday from 7a-7p

That's definitely nice to have the clinicals on the weekend!

Question for anyone who may know for sure... Does the program start dates coincide with fscj semester dates? Like do we have breaks in between each term? I would think we would but I just wanted to make sure

I don't think there is a notification of any sort but if you call Monday morning & asked they will tell you.

i posted a number a couple post ago, when I called she Asked for my name then she put me on hold and came back and said they received it and it is logged in.

I JUST turned in my application last week for the Spring 2016 program and am already freaking out. LOL

The receptionist said we'd receive something in the mail within 8 weeks! Ugh.... the wait!!
