Jess_youmans: I also wrote my preference on the envelope but I called right now anyway and gave my preference over the phone..& she said she'd pass it on to Mrs. James. I don't think is necessary for you to drive out there. I would call again to make sure :) update! Dorothy just called me back saying that Ms. James needs me to come in to fill the form out. Bummer. She tried seeing if she could just mail me the letter but turns out they'll need it for determining the seats and all that. Guess I'll be making my way out there either today or tomorrow. (Coming from beaches)

So! After a long awaited 11 weeks... I finally got the news I was not selected for a seat in the 2015 FALL Cohort. I wasn't accepted due to them making a mistake with the calculations and they failed to include my work experience. I missed the cut off by a point. They told me that they never received my letter from my employer, however, they received everything else..... I found that pretty ironic because I know I sent everything in but there was no way to prove it. I talked to Mrs. James and she was very nice about it. She had me read the letter back to her but there was nothing she could do because it wasn't IN the packet, even though I have been employed with this company for 4 years (It states I have the experience). Oh well, there's nothing I can do now except APPLY for SPRING! Which they've already started accepting applications for so start preparing :)... Word of advice - CHECK EVERYTHING and TAKE PICTURES of what's in your packet with the time stamp just in case something like this happens to you. It's better to be safe than sorry! anyone know what the cut off was? i still haven't received anything ;( but then again...im all the way on the other side of the country!

i just called again to check on the letters... the lady who answered told me they are being sent out next week but i questioned her since i told her another lady told me they were sent out yesterday. she said, "oh I'm sorry i wasn't at work yesterday so i'm not entirely sure what's happening with the letters...you should definitely get them by next week". SO WHO KNOWS... maybe they were sent out...maybe they weren't but if we dont get anything in the mail by next week...im going to be really sad lol.

np:) You'll probably get yours before i get mine... i'm all the way in california! D= im not positive I'm going to get accepted... they didn't count my chemistry course cuz it wasn't completed by 4/1...sigh! good luck to you all! :]

Amanda-Aww I hope u get in! It seems like it's been a long journey so far! Hopefully they'll count all of your points even though it isn't included it in ur new packet! I think they include up to 4-5 years of experience.

I just called and they said they haven't sent the letters out today and they will sometime this week...UGH! There must be a lot of applicants if it's taking them this long to complete everything:(

Did they recently change the deadlines? To apply for Fall 2015 the deadline was April 1.

I'm sure you'll be fine. I applied for fall - I took micro first and I was enrolled in chem when I was able to apply so I called to see if that was ok and they allowed me to apply. I dont know if i'll get accepted because I dont have all the points possible cuz they didn't count chemistry but I applied anyway. Hopefully by spring for sure i'll get in but we'll see! good luck!
