FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016

Hello!

I haven't seen a thread for FSCJ Spring 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Who all is planning on applying for this term start? If anyone is in the program already, any advice??

Hey guys! I am not as far along in this process yet as every else (I have 3 pre reqs left:() but I was curious if anyone took A&P1 and Micro together? I'm considering separating them into 3 semesters, but I hate the thought of having to wait it out another semester for me to apply, although deep down I know its best not to rush the process lol. So I was just wondering if anyone here took them two together and how was the work load? And has anyone taken A&P 1 or 2 or Micro online? Btw, congrats to everyone for being so close to starting this journey!! :)

I would take Micro with A&P 1 if you're going to combine them, A&P 1 was a lot of memorization while Micro is a lot of connecting the dots more than anything. Those 2 learning styles shouldn't conflict with each other too much.

Glad to see everyone moving along. Anyone turned in their application yet? I Mailed mine off today. Wish everyone the best of luck. Oh do they call our references individually, because one of my past jobs gave me a fight for the job letter.

I'll be turning mine in a couple of days after I take the HESI. I will probably physically turn it in cause I don't trust the mailing process. Cutting it close but better than nothing!

I will be taking the HESI on Monday and will be physically dropping it off so that I wont be late in turning it in. Can someone advise on where I would need to go to turn it in?

The nursing office is the floor above the art gallery on the far side of campus (away from student success area)

This could easily be a personal thing. I don't know what to do with my days off during this semester, I have no classes throughout all of Fall. Today is my first day of not having to study and I can't figure out what to do. I've cleaned the entire house, I've made dinner for the next week, etc. Does anybody have any suggestions of what to do or what I can study before nursing program starts?

I heard they test you in dosage calculations so I guess just get really familiar with that. And read!
