FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016

Hello!

I haven't seen a thread for FSCJ Spring 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Who all is planning on applying for this term start? If anyone is in the program already, any advice??

Another question: the fall deadline online says April1-june1 does that mean I can apply anytime between april1 to june1? I want to do the fall program but I don't think I will be done with micro in time. It says finale grades are May 2nd. Can we still apply even if we aren't done with micro.

I was told you can still apply if your in micro. But without the grade in that class you won't have the micro points for your application.

That's the old catalog. The fall deadline is April 1. You can apply without micro.

Does anyone else feel like they don't think they'll get in? I don't know my points yet because I haven't taken the HESI but I'm taking 2 other classes right now and I am trying to study for the HESI and my other class exams all at the same time and it SUCKS!! I feel like I'm going to do horrible on the test and not have enough points to get in...

I feel you, girl. I took the HESI twice 6 mo's apart and I got a 69.50 both times. í ½í±Ží ¼í¿¼ I made 70+ in everything except for Biology í ½í¸– with hopefully a B in Micro (I take my final for on Tuesday) my points are only 191.7.. I am SO nervous. I think that is probably too low, but I am submitting my app anyways and praying for good news. I've came this far to give up now... you never know! Good luck!

I think your points are good! Anything below 178 I think isn't. I have low points now due to getting C's in 3 of my classes, so I'm pretty doubtful but I'm also trying to keep my hopes up and keep trying. I feel like I will need to score perfectly on the HESI in order for my points to be where I want them to be. Or I need to retake those classes to get a better grade. That's the last thing I want to do though!! It's so stressful.

Stressful for sure!! Good luck on the HESI though! Study up on biology, anatomy & math conversions, fractions & ratios! When do you take it?

On the 27th. I'm freaking outtttt! I'm really nervous about anatomy and biology but I've heard it isn't that bad

It really wasnt. Apparently I just suck at biology... because I think that was hard LOL

I'm bad at biology too. I feel like that's everyone's hardest area. But if I don't pass it this time then I will take it again in October and just try and apply for summer term. It will suck but i will have no choice!

I feel like mine are low right now but I won't know what my final score is until the 27th when I take the HESI. I'm sitting at 91.5 right now. Just stay positive, study and don't over think it. I've got two rough classes right now so I completely understand how stressed you are. Just have confidence in yourself and study the best you can.
