Kris ,
where did you find the ISBN numbers for the additional books? Would you mind posting those? Thanks so much , I got my navy polo shirts and I'm going to have to send them back as they are too small. I ordered a 2x and after these are washed they will be way too small. I've already had to send back uniform tops and lab coat. I tried to tell them I needed tall sizes and they wouldnt listen darn it...

They told us yesterday that the polos do NOT shrink. They are only 60% cotton so wash them in cold and you will be fine. I bought mine at orientation so I could try it on. All 3 reps said it doesn't shrink.

Melissa,

Go into Connections and click on add classes. Down at the bottom there are boxes where you can add the reference numbers of the classes within the sections that you signed up for, just put in those reference numbers and click add or what ever the prompt was there and it will do all four at the same time. I didnt have any trouble at all took me all of five mins.

As for the polo shirt if it shrinks any at all and being of cotton material I cant believe that it wont to some degree it is still too small. I am tall and I need a tall size even if they have to special order it for me. I have went through this already with Meridys and it appears that too have tall sizes they just try to convince people that they dont need them. I have had to send my uniforms from them back to get a tall size. I am 6'5 and regular sizes just dont cut it with me. The sleeves on the lab coat alone looked like a half sleeve on me. My shirt sleeve in a dress shirt is 36/37.

I did speak with my brother today that is an IT Director, he said and quote , "the ipads are nice toys, however the functionability of them has a ways to come yet. They are somewhat difficult to type on also". He also thought the searching on a computer E Book would be difficult to which Kris had previously mentioned. I will probably still get the Ebook feature but just put it on my laptop as I am familiar with it.

I ordered two and received two.Just give them a call, I'm sure they will straighten it out for you...As long as you dont need a size altered you should be fine

Hey how did you get registered? I tried adding the classes but they aren't there?
Also, I also stumbled across the idea of getting an ipad until I read some reviews on tablet pc's, almost same screen size, android OS and it is only like $180! They have websites offering awesome deals on them right now. As soon as I get it I am taking it to IT so I can get it on the tablet PC and my home computer.

Yeah those $180 android ones don't come with the "android store". So thus you can't download any apps on them without some hackery. :rolleyes: google has said tablets won't be "supported" until 2.3 which won't come until mid next year. No word if these tablets can be updated to 2.3 since the manufacturers have to code the update. Welcome to the world of android.

I put a lot of thought into the books as many of you have as well. Ultimately the ebooks will work for me (hopefully). After talking to a current student who was out in the atrium she was telling me how the ebooks have worked well for her, and reiterated they are not for everyone. I already have an iPad, regardless of whether or not the books are on it, so for me I am going to give it a try and if needed purchase the print books prior to class.

The current student (forgive me I am awful with names) commutes from the beaches , which I do also, so for her she said the ebooks allowed her to make study sheets and highlighted portions of the text which she would have read aloud over her car speakers, like your iPod playing music, allowing her to review as she was on the go. For me this is incredibly helpful, along with acess from multiple locations via the web ( as I am very forgetful)

I also found some good sales on stethoscopes and other supplies on medisave.com

But how will it know what section to add us to? I assumed since we signed our names and social on the section sheets at orientation, they would register for us...? I am not sure why I am thinking this. I'll try to register and will let you know if it does or does not work for me, thanks!!

Well maybe I could just use it to access the books through the internet then. I think the lady said we could access them online and it would sync whenever we made changes. This is kind of making me nervous but I am not carrying around all of those books. lol

It worked! I looked at the schedule they gave us and the reference numbers are unique to the section you chose. SO I am registered! Thanks for helping me.
