FSCJ/FCCJ spring 2011 hopefuls

I scanned the threads and didn't see one for this class set up yet. I'm applying at the end of the semester. Anyone else?

K nurse - you can refuse a loan. You have up until 14 days after disbursement to refuse it. :)

Squirmy,

what if you had the loan arranged for the next term such as I and it may be the summer term before i need it do you have any idea what to do with that situation??:uhoh3:

I think you can defer it until the next semester, but you have to go to financial aid to ask them to set it up for you.

Or you can just take the money when it comes and save it until summer. That's pretty much what I'm doing with the money I got for Fall - I'll be using it to pay for classes and books in the spring and I'll be using the spring money for Summer. :)

Thats a good idea too.

The problem is, I have NO CLUE what I'll do if I dont get in...

Go into hiding maybe?

K Nurse,

It is pretty a scary thought if you sit and think about it to bank everything on acceptance to the program and then get shot down...may I go into exile with you??

Hey guys another FSCJ spring candidate here. Didn't make it fall with 185.5 points but took 3 classes over summer and now have 216.5 points. Hope that gets me in or I'll roll into summer with 228.5 points. If that doesn't get it then I don't know what will. I got a 119.5 on the NAT so there's no real sense in re-taking that. I'd like to hear something really so or check my program of study and see the "N" turned to a "Y" on accepted. Just doing the waiting tap dance. How many male nurses you think we'll have? I def don't want to be the only guy there.

Capt Kris ,

Welcome and the best of luck to you in the weeks ahead....I for one am or hope to be a "male nurse". As you can tell from reading these forums there is a lot of ambigous information floating around. I applied with 206pts total , however I reside in Clay county to which I just found out after submitting my application was considered "out of county" now. The ladies here will be happy to know they have another participant in their "tap dance" rituals for the next few weeks....

I'm not sure how they weigh the clay county vs duval county issue but I made sure I'm living in duval when I applied. Might be a tit for tat on SJRCC's 10 point bonus for just living in clay or putnam.

I hadnt even considered that option, however if one school is doing that it would make sense that the others do the same to make it equivilant...I live almost directly across the street from SJRCC here in OP and distance wise it would be awesome. I am currently taking Chm 1032 which is now one of their requirements just in case, however time wise I just want to finish this up and be done...besides I have taken all my preq's at FSCJ and if accepted there would most likely finish my BSN there also as I have all the basics covered for that degree already also...:yeah:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

If I am right you can thank me later, however sitting around battling with a migraine yesterday I went through the Spring 2010 forums. It looks like they got their letters around the second week in Nov of last year. As well as I could tell they had all pretty much been notified by the Thanksgiving break as to their standing. Now this would support my theory that that will come out sooner than Dec 1st, however it doesnt mean to start phoning and bagering the staff at the admissions office ( not that any of you would participate in any nonsense such as that),and for goodness sake dont begin stalking the mailman either. So to All , hang in there my prediction is we will know around or at least start hear around the second week of this month. It also appears they send out an email to our FSCJ email account at the same time they send out the notifications so I would make sure you have that working. I have mine forwarded to my personal email account.

I hope everyone has a great week, and the best of luck to all....Me
