I know this is early, but I am sure there are Fall hopefuls out there for 2011.
Anyone out there yet, or am I just overly eager?
Hi everyone,
I am taking Micro and an online class so I haven't done much studying for NS but I have a really long list of links that cover almost anything you can think of (from cranial nerves to pharmacology and dosage help) I surf them every once in a while to pass the time in a constructive way. If you have cable, you know how many commercial breaks you are paying for! lol I use that time to review. If you want the list or have any you want to share, PM me.

Hi, I have read the entire thread, but I haven't seen anything on how the school comes up with the scores. I know it is a variation of GPA and NAT, but how are the variables weighed against each other and are there other factors that are considered? Please know that I have tried to contact the school via email and I haven't had much success with answers. I am a military medic currently overseas and I will be applying next year. Thanks,Will

Actually they don't look at GPA. It is the NAT and a points system based on your grades in certain classes like A&P and College Algebra.
Its 4 pts for an A, 3 for a B, 2 for a C. Then you multiply these points by the number of credit hours the class is worth such as Micro is 4 credit hours and if you get an "A" it is worth 16 points. English I is 3 credit hours and if you get an "A" is worth 12 points.
The classes that count are A&P I and II, ENC I, Micro, College Algebra, a Humanties course of some kind, Growth and Developement, Psychology, and Sociology. Add all your points together and that is your points for grades. Add those to your NAT points and you have your total score. Hope that makes sense. I just woke up and my brain is still fuzzy.
Oh, and I think you get points for being a medic but not sure how that works exactly.
I have an even funnier one....I got a letter from FSCJ and I thought, "Wow, I must have been at the bottom of the barrell to already get a rejection letter....then I opened it and it said we would like to congratulate you...then I read furhter and it was for the President's List for the quarter!!!" HELLO, rolling mixed emotions, lol! I had to laugh, that was cruel!
