FSCJ Fall 2015 Hopefuls

I know it is a little early for this but I just didnt want to wait. I want to see where everyone stands on their classes and when they will be or have taken the HESI. I am enrolled in my last two prerequisites and I will be starting them in January which are my A&P2 and Micro. I am hoping to take the HESI either in February or March after I have had most of my classes finished.

I also received the packet from Cheryl and started calculating my points as I go. Ready to get this next semester finished and the HESI completed.

I know it took summer term 5 1/2 weeks to get their letter so next week I'm running to the mailbox everyday!

Yes I took the hesi and did pretty good . I'm just anxious about the acceptance letters coming out ! Can anyone send me the updated lpn program app ?

I had a false alarm yesterday, big white envelope in the mailbox I saw the first word "Florida" and almost screamed and had to catch my breath...turned out to be "Florida BCBS" what a bummer!

I think all of us have applied to the ADN program. I know I don't have the LPN application. You might want to email and request it.

Hey, guys! First, obligatory comment about this wait HERE. :bored:

Honestly, though, it's my understanding that the reason the deadlines were changed in the first place was to allow more time for application processing. If I'm not mistaken apps weren't due this early in the past, which made for a shorter turn around time in the nursing office and, apparently, came to be burdensome given that the program itself is also continuing on along at the same time. Sooo...I'm giving myself until May 15th (week 6) before I begin stalking my older, itty bitty mail lady; given that my mailbox it right next to my front door, I'm certain it won't take long before she just starts tossing my mail into the yard!

Now, the real reason for my post: I know a couple of people have mentioned taking Micro this summer, and I'm curious if anyone is doing so at Deerwood. I have class on Wednesdays @ 2:30 w/ Norman. It's a hybrid course with a lot of Mastering work online, including two out of the four exams for the semester. First day is the 6th, and I was hoping to maybe put a face or two with some names!

I think even after they changed the deadlines, the wait time has been about 5 1/2 weeks. I haven't heard why they changed the deadlines. Perhaps to give more time to the applicants to get titers and what not?

I've been impatiently waiting for 6 every day. My mail comes late, which is really frustrating when waiting for things. Fortunately, until yesterday, I was preoccupied with graduating from UNF. Now, however, I've got a lot of idle time. I'm hoping it comes by next Saturday.

Hello Everyone! I have been reading everyone's comments on this page for the past few months and I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Joanne and I also applied for the fall 2015 session of the ADN program. I dropped my application off in March and I am dying over here with the wait. I was wondering has anyone called to see if the letters have been mailed out yet?

I called yesterday and again she said it would take be full 8 weeks and they're not done weeding through the applications :(

maybe they're just saying that because so many people are calling idk.
