FSCJ Fall 2015 Hopefuls

I know it is a little early for this but I just didnt want to wait. I want to see where everyone stands on their classes and when they will be or have taken the HESI. I am enrolled in my last two prerequisites and I will be starting them in January which are my A&P2 and Micro. I am hoping to take the HESI either in February or March after I have had most of my classes finished.

I also received the packet from Cheryl and started calculating my points as I go. Ready to get this next semester finished and the HESI completed.

I Just called and talked to Cheryl, surprisingly she picked up right away! She said with the amount of applicants and the deadline changes it won't be for another 2-3 weeks!

Booooo! Ugh the agony! You would think with the deadline changes it should speed up the process.

I know! My friend applied to JU and got her letter 4 weeks later, she had to do a interview And essay so I don't see why fscj takes longer! Hopefully the wait will be worth it.

Yes. From what I saw, 240 was max without work experience.

120 for Hesi and 120 for classes.

To to the poster who is worried about their score being wrong. It seems right on target to me especially since you have work experience.

I wonder if that means a lot of applicants applied? Did they extend the deadline?

She didn't say anything about them extending the deadline and from what Ive heard they are strict on deadlines so I doubt it.

She just said with the new application dates it'll take longer... But I thought they have been using these "new" application dates for 2-3 semesters now, idk.

Im just going to call again Monday because I would think they would be able to tell us if they at least mailed them out or are planing to that week.

Yeah I mean I hope it doesn't take too much longer. The "new" deadlines should be making this process even shorter you'd think! This waiting game sucks!

Hi Ladies, I have read all your comments, and finally decided to join. Let me give you ladies my run down. I tried for the RN program for FSCJ 2 times and I also started to apply for St. Johns River State. Well, with all that said I came to grips that my points weren't high enough and my grade on the NAT wasn't budging. So I decided to ask about the LPN program March 30th not knowing the deadline was April 1st lol. I rushed to get everything in and made the deadline. But I don't think I used the correct packet. Can some one please send me the new/updated pack so I can see the difference PLEASE [email protected] Thanksssss

Maybe you could try the HESI exam and see what your score is since they no longer use tbe NAT. There are pri ate schools but they are very expensive. I have seen on other forums people retake classes.
