FSCJ Fall 2015 Hopefuls

Published

I know it is a little early for this but I just didnt want to wait. I want to see where everyone stands on their classes and when they will be or have taken the HESI. I am enrolled in my last two prerequisites and I will be starting them in January which are my A&P2 and Micro. I am hoping to take the HESI either in February or March after I have had most of my classes finished.

I also received the packet from Cheryl and started calculating my points as I go. Ready to get this next semester finished and the HESI completed.

Maybe someone else should call by the end of the week to see if they get a different answer

Ughhh really? Seems like the selection process should be cut and dry since it goes by points. Was it CJ you spoke with or the reception?

That's what you would think, I don't see what could be taking so long since it's all points!

I call Cheryl's number and shes answered the last couple times I've called.

I believe I might have actually calculated my total points all wrong so now I'm feeling really discouraged.. :(

I miss-calculated by 10 points... Not really sure how that happened. Bummed about it now... But I really hope that I still might have a chance

hello jwaines1!

do you still need the LPN app? I can forward you a copy let me know :)

Hi Ladies, I have read all your comments, and finally decided to join. Let me give you ladies my run down. I tried for the RN program for FSCJ 2 times and I also started to apply for St. Johns River State. Well, with all that said I came to grips that my points weren't high enough and my grade on the NAT wasn't budging. So I decided to ask about the LPN program March 30th not knowing the deadline was April 1st :nailbiting: lol. I rushed to get everything in and made the deadline. But I don't think I used the correct packet. Can some one please send me the new/updated pack so I can see the difference PLEASE [email protected] Thanksssss

I plan on re taking the hesi exam soon and was wondering if anyone knew if they will take the highest scores from each section on both attempts in the application process?..

Thanks! :)

Yes they will! I asked Cheryl that question since I took it about a year ago. As long as it is no longer than 2 years old they take the highest score from each section.

That's great to hear!!

I plan to re take it and was also curious to anyone who has taken it twice now, do you remember if it was the same questions for both attempts?

Different questions! There are three versions of the test (a, b , c) if you took A before then the computer will randomly give you b or c

Was it easier for you the second time around in boosting your score?

Yes it was. I did bad on the science sections and pretty good on the other ones so I soley focused on science (knowing I can keep the highest score). Questions are the same format though from the previous test , pretty much same material

Me also! I did great in the other sections and not so great in science. I hope I boost my score this time! What did you apply with for the program?
