FSCJ Fall 2014 hopefuls

Published

Hello everyone, I did not see a post for the fall 2014 semester, so I wanted to get it started. I applied to the 2014 summer semester and now I am waiting on my acceptance or denial letter. I am starting this forum just in case i do not get in for the summer. My total score right now is 169.96. I have 97 points for my classes and 72.96 points from the NAT. I am currently taking statistics and humanities, in hope of getting an A in both of them to boost my score up to 178.96. I made a C in A&P 1, my first humanities class and PSY1012. I also made a B in college algebra and that is what got my score down so low. I hope that the low cut off score trend continues to give me a good chance of getting in. The last 3 semesters were 175.96, 187 and 187. I am preparing to retake the NAT in late May to be in time for the June 1st deadline with plenty of time to study for the NAT. I look forward to meeting you all, and hear how things are going for you, so we can encourage and support one another.

Skipped out of work today and came home to a big beautiful white envelope marked Daytime!!!!!!!!

Isn't that the most beautiful site you've ever seen?!!?! Congratulations!!!

I got in as well!

Do all the signature have to be done on north campus? Can they be done in one day?

Now that you all beginning to receive your packets, one of you should make a Facebook page for your entire graduating class. You should be December 2015 class if I'm not mistaken. It is a great way to communicate...and when you do add some of us later term students and we can help you with questions along the way, because believe me, you'll have a lot. Some of the people in the terms ahead of our class have been lifesavers for us!!

Enjoy this moment and enjoy the free time you have left, you're about to start a wild ride into a whole new world. The classes you've taken and your college experience thus far is NOTHING compared to this!! Trust me!!!

I have appreciated all of the guidance that each of the "veterans" have been providing and look forward to learning from your experiences as we go through this process. Thank you all for taking the time to help us out!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!

You can get all the signatures in one day. They're all used to doing them now, so it shouldn't take you very long. I think it took me under an hour.

Was Days your first choice?

Yes, the daytime schedule was my first pick because I am not working and want to be home at night and on the weekends with my son.

I called my brother since I am at work. He said nothing has come in for me so looks like I will be waiting a little longer to find out. Congrats to everyone that has gotten in so far!

I just got my packet for daytime. Can't wait to meet everyone :-)

Yes. Must be done at North Campus. And yes, I got mine done in under an hour. You may not be able to find anyone to sign off on the Nursing Skills Lab, so if not, put something like, "No one available." They will accept that for only that one spot. There is often not a class in there.

You are more than welcome!!! We have noticed that in this program, all the students before you take the time to help the newbies out, so we pay it forward, and you all will do the same when you are no longer the "babies." Just 10 weeks ago, WE were the babies and scared out of our minds. We hope to meet those of you in Days on campus!!! We all are here to help each other!!!
