Hello everyone, I did not see a post for the fall 2014 semester, so I wanted to get it started. I applied to the 2014 summer semester and now I am waiting on my acceptance or denial letter. I am starting this forum just in case i do not get in for the summer. My total score right now is 169.96. I have 97 points for my classes and 72.96 points from the NAT. I am currently taking statistics and humanities, in hope of getting an A in both of them to boost my score up to 178.96. I made a C in A&P 1, my first humanities class and PSY1012. I also made a B in college algebra and that is what got my score down so low. I hope that the low cut off score trend continues to give me a good chance of getting in. The last 3 semesters were 175.96, 187 and 187. I am preparing to retake the NAT in late May to be in time for the June 1st deadline with plenty of time to study for the NAT. I look forward to meeting you all, and hear how things are going for you, so we can encourage and support one another.
Now that you all beginning to receive your packets, one of you should make a Facebook page for your entire graduating class. You should be December 2015 class if I'm not mistaken. It is a great way to communicate...and when you do add some of us later term students and we can help you with questions along the way, because believe me, you'll have a lot. Some of the people in the terms ahead of our class have been lifesavers for us!!
Enjoy this moment and enjoy the free time you have left, you're about to start a wild ride into a whole new world. The classes you've taken and your college experience thus far is NOTHING compared to this!! Trust me!!!
I got in. Im so excited. Now to get everything done. There is so much. I don't know where to begin.
LOL! Yes, it is a lot!!! Start with those titers and immunizations first. Get that started now! The background check, fingerprinting, and urinalysis can all be done on the same day if you schedule it right. Background check is just a matter of you filling it out online, but do EXACTLY as those instructions say. Print the pages it tells you to print and make sure you get the CHAIN OF CUSTODY form from the place you get your urinalysis. It must be THAT form not a receipt.
Don't bother yourself about the uniforms and stuff right now. Oh, you will need to order them soon, but your concern right now should be the labs and the paperwork you need completed by whatever date they told you, and I'm guessing that date is BEFORE orientation.
So happy for you all!!!
ETA: OH! And make duplicate or even triplicate copies of EVERYTHING! This program is known for losing stuff and saying they did not get it, and if you don't have proof that you have it, it will be too bad so sad! I made two copies for myself of my entire packet that I submitted to them just in case! Same goes for emails once you do start school, ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING you send to them, you Carbon Copy it to yourself! Always!

You should have several medical pages. Some that are release forms, and then there should be a page that your doctor has to fill out for your physical. The titers are at the top of that and it should list the ones you need, but if I remember correctly, there should be another paper that explains what you need as far as titers go.

That's exactly what I'm worried about. My residency was fixed but just last week.
