Okay here we are!!!!!!

I am in section 5 too. I keep thinking the same things as ya'll. Keep reminding yourself that you earned your way into this program. It wasn't just gifted to you. Others have succeeded at this program and we can too. We have been preparing for this for a long time now it's go time. We will have so many new people in our lives willing to help us out too. Look how much we have all helped each other already. Put on your game face cause here we go. I look forward to meeting you guys through the next few weeks.

For starters, take a deep breath and relax....you're not going to spend the next 16 months reading everything. There's just not enough hours in the day. FOr success on the tests (besides dosage calc) use the CD's out of the text books and study the NCLEX questions. MOst questions for most test are drawn out of a question bank for the NCLEX.

Good luck, be on time, don't **** off an instructor, wear appropriate clothes-both in school and out of school, don't text in class and you'll be fine.

this may be really dumb, but are shorts and tank tops appropriate to wear to class for regular lectures?

Good advice!! So good infact I wrote in red lipstick on my bathroom mirror "don't **** off an instructor" :lol2:

My reasoning is if I wouldn't wear it to an office job, then don't wear it to class. We are learning to be professionals so we have to dress and look the part at all times.

Tasteful clothing, as long as the shorts are not too short and the tank top isn't 4 sizes too small, its ok. But its also cold in the classroom.

I like the saying: "Dress for the job you want, not the one you have."

I think you can pretty much wear what you want, but totally agree it is FREEZING in the classrooms!!

Alright ... I feel like I'm probably missing something totally obvious in asking this ... but how do we know which classrooms we'll be in? :uhoh3:

edit: ... Now I feel outrageously silly. I just looked at my registration information sheet for the millionth time and saw the room number listings we go to plain as day. Haha, I'm just a little flustered with everything ... just a little! ;)

Any Night/Weekend people want to switch to days?

Did the list of books get posted on here? Somehow I've managed to loose the paper they gave us with them listed, and I can't remember which ones I still need...

JenniRie, give me a call... I can verify the list with you!
