Okay here we are!!!!!!

I'm having the same problem. I finally got someone on the phone this morning and Deerwood sent my appeal to North Campus yesterday even though I turned everything in 7/23. Now I'm waiting for North Campus to hopefully approve my appeal. FA needs to get a better system in place.

There's a SYSTEM??

Ha Ha. Good point!

Can anyone list the names/ISBNs of the books in the box?

No, that's just the box. We also need an additional 5 or 6 reference books that aren't included. The bookstore has a list, but also if you go back quite a few pages there's a list of ISBNs.

If I have time later I'll post those as well.

You don't. Second term you need three books and the book you use for adult health one, you use for adult health two in fourth term. Third term its just one book.

Here's the info for the five books we need that aren't in the box:

0803615590 (Taber's Cyclopedic Dictionary)

0135074053 (Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests)

0803623135 (RNotes)

0803623089 (Davis's Drug Guide)

1435454103 (Dosage Calculations)

We also need the i-Clicker, but I decided to wait and pick that up at the bookstore. My total for those five was $213 on Amazon Student, and free 2-day shipping!

By the way, does anyone know if we need to dress up for orientation, or if casual is acceptable?

You could save your money on the Taber's dictionary. More than one person told me it isn't worth the money but I didn't believe them and bought it anyway. It sits unopened on my desk. If your budget is an issue, you can easily skip this one and google anything you need a dictionary for.

hey everyone,

is anyone else trying to get worksource? I have a meeting on the 23rd. I'm really nervous. She told me I qualify over the phone, but I don't know if I'll find out for sure on the 23rd or not. I really want to get all of my books and stuff. All I have so far is 75% bright futures, but that's not even enough for tuition =/

I'm goingt to meet with them at 10 am on the 23rd too. The worksource lady told me that we will know the result by the 25th. She told me not to worry about buying books, uniforms, and all because they won't be able to reimburse us for those. She said "you still have enough time to get them before you need them". They can only reimburse for the tuition that we have to pay by the deadline (which I believed it's on the 19th). I'm nervouse too. My financial aid appeal status is still pending. I turned in my appeal form on July 22nd, and I called them on Monday, and guess what? They told me that they have the record that I turned the form in, but they couldn't find my paperwork, they said they are truely sorry and asked me to return the form in again. They said they will expedite the process for me, but I haven't seen any change on my financail aid status yet. What a bummer!!!!
