From an RPN to an RN? (IN CANADA)

Published

Hello everyone!

I have two questions ...

1. I will be attending the practical nursing program in Ontario. I was wondering, if I choose to further my education by becoming a Registered Nurse, do I have to take the bridging program from RPN to BScN?

2. Once I do become a RN, what do I need to do in order to work in specific area such as ICU, OR, ER, etc ...

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.
