Good morning!

Joe, hope you had a decent night's sleep.  Sorry that J has to go forward with IV antibiotics.  Not uncommon from what I know about osteo.

J22, glad you were able to schedule the MRI.

Stars, glad to see you back online.  Good to hear you're missing that storm.

I guess my boss got wind of that my Costa Rica trip was canceled due to Omicron and decided to cancel my vacation.  She said "you still want the time off?".  I said "well who told you I didn't because it certainly wasn't me".  Anyway, I got her to give me the time off in late March that I requested.  I have a lot of PTO since I don't call in sick and run the risk of losing it if I don't take time in a couple of months.  Her official day of retirement is Feb. 25th this month and I want my time scheduled before she leaves.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the time off but I'm not giving them any of my hours for me not calling in sick or taking time off.

Latest rumor that staff is creating is that our unit is going to close down.  Rumors will fly.  Could be true.

Off today and working the weekend.  Weather will be in the pleasant 70's.

Tweety good that you're still taking the time off.  Might take some time off next month, not to go anywhere but just to take a break

NJ22 glad you've gotten the MRI scheduled

Stars glad the storm has missed you so far

Dianah Arizona sounds nice this time of year

Hi Amo and sirI

Another fairly good day at work, little busy in the morning but otherwise not bad.  Didn't do much after work except exercise.  Thankfully the parking lot is plowed, and thankfully the plow did not bury my car in snow, was only a little to clear away

Have been trying to adjust my diet to where I'm only eating when truly hungry and not for other reasons.  Has been tricky to determine when I'm actually hungry since recently I haven't been allowing that to happen

Sleep has been good, only woke up once at night.  Feel a little tired when doing morning meditation, which could mean I need a bit more sleep or just haven't had coffee yet.  Will see about increasing the time I sleep a bit and see if that works

Today meeting J for dinner as usual

Might get some more snow today, think it will be in the 20s.

Good. You deserve all of that time.

Hey @Joe NightingMale

Stay warm. Enjoy dinner with J.

Well, I'm home-bound. Finally have electricity, but won't be venturing out. Main reason ... can't get out of my driveway. Heck, I wouldn't attempt it even if I could. Trying to navigate out of the woods would be traumatic both mentally and physically. I'd break something reaallly important. LOL!

Hullo. Another day of rain and drizzle, with balmy temps in the 40s. TGIF. I slept really well last night, which is always a pleasant surprise.

My manager wanted my take on a feud going on between crazy co-worker and our consulting MD who won't speak to her and is leaving at the end of the month. They both have tons of stress at home. My take is the crazy one is down right pushy at times, and crossed the line. And of course, she says doc acted unprofessionally. Crazy one says she is retiring in July instead of September, for which I am grateful. We are getting a new supervisor, too, and I hope we don't drive her off with the level of tension around here.

Tweety, do enjoy your time off. Got any big home projects you've been putting off? Organizing to do? Or maybe, a yoga retreat?

Dianah, right now a visit to Arizona sounds inviting. Especially with friends.

sirI, if you don't mind me asking, what part of the country are you in? Stay safe and warm.

I've been devoting more time to meditation, and it feels good. Maybe that is why I slept so well. I do know my mind is doing less racing.

Will check back later.

Don't ya just hate being placed in the middle of something like this?

(I'm in the South.)

Sun is out and doing a pretty good job with the trees. A tad bit warmer (28), but still icy.

Having boiled shrimp and mac salad for supper. Then start on season 4 of Ozark. Have any of ya'll watched that on Netflix?

I've watched the first 3 seasons of Ozark. Good, but chilling. Julia Garner (Ruth) does an amazing job. Her two Emmys were well earned.

I watched the first two seasons of Ozark and want to catch up because the buzz on Season 4 is that it's awesome.

Great weather here in the 70's so I went to the beach to lounge with best friend for a couple of hours.  Very relaxing.

Love Ozark. The last several episodes were crazy good and bad LOL! Ruth is my favorite although all of them are amazing.

Glad you are catching up, @Tweety. I don't think you'll regret it.

Hello all!

I haven't heard of the series Ozark, will have to check it out.

A couple ppl called in sick today, so I worked in the Stress Lab.  Had lots of computer issues, IT rebooted the computer remotely (after I had restarted it X3!!), then someone from IT ended up coming out to check on things.  I don't know what he did, but everything worked after that.

I had hoped to be in the office, as we need to catch up on our Spreadsheet.  Oh well, will try next week.  Office partner dealt with unusual issues today.  I helped where I could, in-between patients in the Stress Lab.

We had a Mediterranean salad for dinner, and watched another episode of The Chosen.  So good, both.  We will re-watch the episode tomorrow at lunch.  It suits us to watch an episode, then think on it overnight, then watch it again.  ?

I have lots of mail for oldest ds, will meet him Sunday and deliver it (many days he stays at his gf's place, in Riverside, and he texted he would be in town over the weekend).

Have a good evening!  (so glad it's Friday!)
