Fresno State Nursing (BSN) Fall 2018

Hey everyone!

I didn't see any forums for Fresno State Fall 2018 and so I decided to create one myself.

I applied for Fresno State's program as a transfer for the upcoming fall semester.

Here are my stats:

Prereqs: All A's except one B (chem)

TEAS: 82%

Volunteer hours and some scribing hours

Anyone else applied and know when they will be getting back to us? Has anyone heard about last year's admissions? Thanks in advance!

I've called a few times over the past few days and they don't answer the phone. Hopefully we hear from them Monday. It's way past the 25th

I only see "Univ Application Status" and when I open the link it says my application is out for review.

Maybe it's because I was rejected but later accepted via email (problem with transcripts).

@Ultralightbeam are you also having this issue?

I was rejected and then later accepted via email (same as you). So the last time I checked my student center, it still said my application is out for review. I haven't heard anything about orientation or registering for classes since accepting their admission offer. Would like to know when orientation is available so I could plan ahead about all of this.

I just called and left a voicemail, I wish they would send an email or something, or have a damn timeline on when things are supposed to happen. I'm super nervous that I'm not going to be able to get in classes cause they're full. Has anyone heard anything new?

Hey! Which classes do u mean are full? IK that the nursing classes are reserved only for the nursing students... do u mean other upper division courses?

Yeah like nutrition and lifespan development. We have to have those done by the first semester.

For those of you on the Alternate list, I called today and they said that we should hear from them no later than tuesday of next week. Hopefully we do find out soon, it has been a long and agonizing wait.

Hi Klow7,

I am currently a 1st semester student in the Fresno State nursing program. I was accepted with all A's and 1 B (also in chem), and an 84% on the TEAS. I also did my prereqs at Clovis Community. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll be happy to help :)

Hi, DAbuS2020! I was just wondering if you had any volunteer hours or work experience when you applied. Because I'm not sure if the Fresno State Nursing admissions take into account volunteer hours/work experience for acceptances. Thank you so much in advance!

I made a Facebook group for the fall cohort. It's called CSUF Nursing Cohort Fall 2020. Everyone who got accepted, feel free to join the group so we could all stay in touch

Has anyone gotten an email on orientation/registration yet? When you do, can you post that you did on here because it's annoying wondering if I'm the only person who hasn't received an email on that yet.
