Hey everyone!
I didn't see any forums for Fresno State Fall 2018 and so I decided to create one myself.
I applied for Fresno State's program as a transfer for the upcoming fall semester.
Here are my stats:
Prereqs: All A's except one B (chem)
TEAS: 82%
Volunteer hours and some scribing hours
Anyone else applied and know when they will be getting back to us? Has anyone heard about last year's admissions? Thanks in advance!
Hey, @Ultralightbeam! Did you also get the "Graduate Classification" question on your To Do List?
No, I did not. I have nothing on my to do list. Did you get admitted as a post-bac? If so, we don't have to take the GRE, right? Our test requirement was the TEAS?
Also for anyone else, how do we register for non-nursing classes, or do we even need to do that right now? I still need to take some of those other classes like nutrition and developmental psychology.
I'm so sorry, I misread what you had said. I thought you said "for the school of nursing" not "to the school of nursing". No, if sent to the university, they already have them. However, if you're taking classes outside of Fresno State, I am pretty sure you will have to submit transcripts with grades for this semester.Sorry about that!
Hey nursing friend! I was wondering if you knew what teas scores your fellow students got in with. I didn't really study and got a 78.7 so I'm wondering if I should/ need to retake it before I apply. Thanks!

Hi! I took it the first time and got an 78 and the second time I got an 82. But the pre nursing advisor was talking to the students and said you only need a 75. They will only look at your teas score if there is a tie in GPA. It's up to you. I retook it just to be competitive. But if you have a GPA over 3.8, I think you should be fine.
Has anyone else received an email stating that we've been registered into our Nurs 10L clinical site and that we have to register for our other nursing classes? I got the email yesterday but my Student Center says that I am not registered in any classes yet and that I need permission numbers. I was wondering about this and if we have to pay for tuition fees and registration fees before or after we officially register for classes.
hey everyone! congrats to those on getting into the nursing program! I am currently a pre-nursing student at FS and I am working on my pre-reqs right now. I was wondering if you guys have any tips for those working on their pre-reqs?? Is it better to take classes at Community Colleges to obtain A's?? Is GPA more important than your TEAS score? What are some tips that you would give for taking the TEAS? Thank you to everyone in advance!
