Fresno State Nursing (BSN) Fall 2018

Hey everyone!

I didn't see any forums for Fresno State Fall 2018 and so I decided to create one myself.

I applied for Fresno State's program as a transfer for the upcoming fall semester.

Here are my stats:

Prereqs: All A's except one B (chem)

TEAS: 82%

Volunteer hours and some scribing hours

Anyone else applied and know when they will be getting back to us? Has anyone heard about last year's admissions? Thanks in advance!

Seriously! Has anyone on alternate list heard anything? Did the email say you will hear from them after the 24th or until the 24th?

I was told that emails would be sent out friday. However, Wasneverhere just called yesterday and they told him we wont know until end of next week because the department chair is out.

I'm wondering the same thing... Fresno city already had their orientation last week. I haven't received any communication from state since my acceptance letter. I don't know if they register us for classes during orientation or if we do it now or what. I'm feeling pretty blind right now

Same. I got my acceptance email the other week. Still no follow up on orientation.

Same! No communication since the acceptance letter, and confirmation after accepting admission to the program. Does anyone still have the Dog Days orientation hold in their To-Do list? It specifies that it will remain there until we attend an actual Dog Days. Also, did anyone see their enrollment date? I believe this is the first date each person is eligible to register for classes. I'm feeling pretty blind as well haha!

Same for me too! I called the office and they said they aren't sure when emails will be sent out, but they will

email us with all the orientation info. I just registered for dog days too.

How were you able to register for Dog Days? I don't see it as an option on my portal.

In the student portal, you go to the student center and then go under My Admissions and Program applications. There should be two options, one for University Application status and one for Dog Days orientation. First make sure you accept your admission and then you'll be able to register for the Dog Days orientation. Hope that helps!

I only see "Univ Application Status" and when I open the link it says my application is out for review.

Maybe it's because I was rejected but later accepted via email (problem with transcripts).

@Ultralightbeam are you also having this issue?
