Fresno State Nursing (BSN) Fall 2018

Hey everyone!

I didn't see any forums for Fresno State Fall 2018 and so I decided to create one myself.

I applied for Fresno State's program as a transfer for the upcoming fall semester.

Here are my stats:

Prereqs: All A's except one B (chem)

TEAS: 82%

Volunteer hours and some scribing hours

Anyone else applied and know when they will be getting back to us? Has anyone heard about last year's admissions? Thanks in advance!

I got the email at about 1100

Hi everyone! I got in with a 3.94 overall and for my pre-reqs I'm not exactly sure what my GPA was but my only B was in chemistry! 82% on the TEAS.

I had a 3.96 and an 82 on the TEAS, it would have been a 4.0 but I had group communications and the professor graded us as a group, and of course not everyone cares about getting an A.

Has anyone heard back from the nursing program regarding the alternate list? And for those of you who were accepted, did you accept your admission?

I surprisingly got an email from them earlier today saying I was admitted. It was surprising because earlier this month, they sent me an email saying I was rejected and no mention of being on the alternates. Called them earlier today to confirm which is true and the lady on the other end said that they had a mixup with my GPA. This was the second time I called them and they have been pretty responsive. Give them a call and they can look up your name on the list!

I was told that they can't give any information on where you stood for the program

I called a little while ago and they said that they planned on sending out emails to the alternates this week but the Department Chair is out. They anticipate sending out emails late next week. They still will not tell us what number we are on the list.
