Thanks you so much, ashmov97, lovelycassie, and SissyCat.

Ashmov97, hopefully you can get in, maybe as we get closer to the start of the semester some individuals will go to programs that are closer to them. I have heard that a lot of campuses have been delaying admission because of the whole COVID situation, hopefully there are individuals who are still waiting to hear back from other schools that are more convenient to them.

Hi all!

So I spoke with a counselor about registration for classes. I was told that what is likely going to happen is we are going to get an email before classes begin in August about orientation and that is when we are probably going to get information regarding our classes (it is possible that we will get an email sooner about the orientation).

I was also told by a friend in the program that our classes get picked for us in the first semester and I mentioned that to the counselor. He said that it is possible that is what they are going to do but the department changes some things each semester so we'll find out!

CONGRATS to those who have been accepted and best wishes to the alternates. I just wanted to come on here to ask if anyone has registered for Dog Days. Also, do you know if this is when we choose our classes? I am a transfer and would like to know what date to register for.

Hey all,

Has anybody tried to verify their wishlist to see if there were any problems? When I did, it is saying that my major hasn't been shifted from pre-nursing to nursing; therefore, I can't enroll in the classes yet. I have been trying to get ahold of the school but finding it difficult to get ahold of somebody that can help.

Hi,

My friend in the program mentioned that we can register for classes after attending a nursing orientation.
(I heard that because it is nursing major classes with a limited number of students, most of the class schedules are fixed and only practical classes such as labs have various schedules.)

I spoke with a friend in the program as well and she said that we do not register for classes until the orientation (possibly in July/August). Our lectures have a fixed schedule and the clinical we will get to pick on the day of the orientation. For now we just register for electives to qualify for FAFSA and then drop them when we register for the nursing courses.

Hey Everybody,

I hope you are all safe and healthy. I recently saw on the news that Fresno State will be online for the Fall 2020 semester and I was just curious if anyone had heard anything about the online thing being applied the Nursing Program as well or if it was an exception.

I read in the newspaper (LA Times) that nursing clinical labs would be exempt from the CSU closure. But, I have not heard anything specifically about Fresno State. I am wondering that too!
