Who else out there is preparing to apply to either Wesleyan or TCU for 2008? I'm just preparing to sit for my CCRN (I have my CNRN that Wesleyan will accept but not TCU) & take my GRE. I know the deadline for TCU is October & Wesleyan has moved theirs up to Dec. 1. Not much time left. Anyone out there received any tips for admission?:uhoh21:

I wish the best for you this time. Im not Mr super stellar applicant myself so Im always wanting to hear from people that didnt get accepted. This could very well be a multi year endeavor for me as well.

Has anyone heard from TCU yet? They said it would probably be November but I'm nervous. I've had my stuff in for a while now. My interview at TWU is Jan. 2.

they (tcu) send out the invites in mid-november. all invites go out at the same time. everyone interviews during 1 week in january. start getting worried if you don't hear anything by december.

So far my Application hasnt been reviewed at TCU. They arent reviewing anymore this week. Monday they will resume the reviews and continue putting together more letters awarding or declining interviews.

I just need to find a good sport to play until the mailman brings me the news. :lol2:

I just got my invite for an interview on January 5th to TWU. Hopefully second times a charm. Wish me luck!

Gman, Sorry about the delay bro. Selecting to do clinicals around Fort Worth (Baylor and Harris Methodist) and LSU Shreveport as my 3rd choice. I have yet to hear anything about TCU either. Hopefully sometime next month. By that time myself and the mailman will be on first name basis. Tick-Tock... Tick-Tock...

Finally!!!!! I received my TCU interview letter today!!!! Had to select my clinical site preferences and mail back. So....HEADS UP EVERYONE! It's time to stalk your mailman again cuz letters have gone out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone has been accepted to TWU, and if so what their GPA and test scores were if you dont mind me asking.... I have a long way to go before applying but i figured that i might as well start asking questions now and figuring out exactly what i need to do to ensure acceptance to TWU. I know it's not probable that i will get into the one school that i want, but i don't really have a choice.... I'll be moving to Denver and since TWU offers Univ. of Col. H ospital as a clinical site, i HAVE to get accepted to that school!! So any qualification tips would be awesome!!

Maybe start by telling us your GPA and years of experience. Why is it a long time before you apply?

Neurogeek, So I talked to TCU today, my letter was mailed on Friday, so tommorrow I will be stalking the mailman more than normal. Man what makes it worse it that I'm on my 7 off right now. I need a new hobby!!!

Yep....stalk the mailman! Maybe someone should warn the post office that every fall anesthesia applicants will be pursuing the mailmen like rapid dogs!!!!:clown:
