Who else out there is preparing to apply to either Wesleyan or TCU for 2008? I'm just preparing to sit for my CCRN (I have my CNRN that Wesleyan will accept but not TCU) & take my GRE. I know the deadline for TCU is October & Wesleyan has moved theirs up to Dec. 1. Not much time left. Anyone out there received any tips for admission?:uhoh21:

Ok, checked with TCU today and they received my return letter with my clinical site choices. On to phase 2.....tick, tock.....waiting for them to mail the letter with my actual interview date and time. MJ said it would around Thanksgiving.......:smackingf

Im just hoping to be accepted by "a" program. Im not eeeeevven halfway as cocky to pick between the two at this point.

The whole application process is quite humbling. Lol Ive prayed more in the last few months than I have in the last year.

Can anyone tell me how long it took them to hear back from TCU once they had turned in all of their application materials? I got all of mine in on October 31st, so I just didn't know how long to expect to wait to hear.

By the way, I am new to the posts, I have been reading them for some time now and wanted to let you all know that the information you are sharing on this site is great. It really helps to know others are going through the same thing with you. I just wanted to say thanks for all of the great information. I decided to join so I can hopefully help someone out like all of your posts have helped me.

Havent a clue as what the turn around is. My app was complete way back in august. I bet its pretty short at this stage of the game. Im sure they want to have everything wrapped up asap. Id give it to the end of November.

The staff is really nice so, after ample time, a phone call to the office would be ok Im sure.

Last year, unlike TWU, they didn't have a clinical interview. It was more of a "gettin' to know you" session according to those who went through it. Don't be fooled though. One of my pals from Parkland said her interview at TCU was tougher than at TWU, where they grilled her on all sorts of clinical stuff. She said TCU really laid into her about her past grades, etc. They also ask financial questions (how will you pay for this?). Apparently, one of the WRONG answers is "I plan to work."

I am from texas, in the southern part. I also have an interview at twu on jan 5th..
