Forsyth tech 2016 LPN Practical Nursing

Published

There isn't a thread yet for the students applying to the fall 2016 lpn program. I was just curious about everyone's experience so far. I take my teas test on November 17th and I currently have 31 points from related courses. Has anyone already taken their teas test? How many points do you have? Im shooting for at least a 70 on the teas but I heard it's very difficult so I'm stressing a lot. Looking forward to hearing from you guys! good luck.

I'm glad that it's only 42% :) ha I've still been studying the study guide book

If you happen to have an iPhone, I suggest getting this TEAS V app. It's a free version and it has really good reviews. This is what I have been using to study.

Those of you taking the test in February, what day is it? I'm curious because I will be out of town the 3rd through the 10th. Went to my MAR today and she said someone would contact me through my student email about the available dates. I'm hoping there is one offered in time that doesn't interfere with that week.

Are you also applying for Fall 2016 for LPN?

I believe they will have some during that week but afterward as well. We have until the 25th of February to have everything done.

I am...It looks like you're an NP so I'm assuming you aren't?

Okay, that's a relief! Thanks!

How many of you will have to pay out of pocket if you get in and have already started trying to save money? I have read that it is quite expensive.

I know how you feel. I have applied for financial aid. Hoping to get help there. If not, it's gonna be really tough to squeeze by.

Idk about exact but I know it's $76 per credit hour for each class plus all books supplies uniforms etc. I'm just praying I qualify for some form of aid. My biggest fear is not being able to support myself while in school.

@Lapishsunsmile, I'm the same way. Will you guys be working while in school?
