There isn't a thread yet for the students applying to the fall 2016 lpn program. I was just curious about everyone's experience so far. I take my teas test on November 17th and I currently have 31 points from related courses. Has anyone already taken their teas test? How many points do you have? Im shooting for at least a 70 on the teas but I heard it's very difficult so I'm stressing a lot. Looking forward to hearing from you guys! good luck.
Chiming in a little late here, but I had 38 academic related points and scored 70 on the TEAS for a total of 108 points. I'm crossing my fingers and toes, and praying like a madwoman that I get in this fall. I'm also stalking the mail every day like some kind of crazed psychopath. Best of luck to you all. Hopefully the wait won't be too much longer...
I am currently in the Lpn program at Forsyth Main campus... I am halfway through second semester... I know how long the wait is for acceptance letters, it nearly drove me crazy wait and stalking the mail lady haha... I just wanted to share a little about the program for one ITS AMAZING, our instructors are all so kind and caring and they really are there to help you. I have heard a lot of horror stories about nursing school but Forsyth is nothing like the evil nursing stories you hear. They want you to succeed, dont get me wrong its has been tough but so worth it... I do know money wise you need to start saving because uniforms and lab kits has to be paid out of pocket and before school starts so if you have financial aid it will not cover these, you also have to have pen light, stethoscope, watch and solid black nursing shoes.. but once you have your acceptance letter you need to go to your local JOB LINK and they offer a lpn scholarship which will help pay for most of these things... also 1st semester is 4 days a week but on your 1 day off you will have plenty to do homework, study and clinical packet... hope this gives you a little insight

so I retook the teas and made a 56 the second time, the first time I had a 58 glad they take the higher score. I am so anxious waiting on the letter my points are still only 83 since they take the higher score. I have been checking the mail every day even though I know the "letter" may not be here until March 20th. I just want to know, but I'm nervous at the same time. I am gonna be bummed if I don't get in. Trying to keep on the bright side though!
