Former June 06 - Waived License but Still With Visa Screen Certificate Problem

Published

I am originally from the june 06 batch, but because of the issue, I decided to retake the whole exam and waive my june 06 license. I took the exam last june 2007. Now, I thought that I would not have anymore problems with the Visa Screen Certificate, but guess what??? I do!!!

I requested my license verification from PRC. Then just recently, I saw in my online account in CGFNS that they have "received the document but not accepted" it. I immediately emailed them about it and they answered that i should look up this link:

http://www.cgfns.org/sections/tools/faq/vs.shtml

the link was for june 2006 passers of Philippine NLE. I don't know what to do now. I mean, I already waived my june 2006 license, so that I won't have anymore problems and then this happens.

I don't know what document I should file with the PRC or submit to CGFNS? Do I have to submit a new license verification form? This is so frustrating!!!

If anyone out there encountered the same problem and already know what to do, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!! God Bless!!!

Have you confirmed that they have received your new license and that your old one has been waivered? It may mean you re submit your new license to them

I think it's a simple mistake on their part. Just e-mail them and clarify that you have waived the old one and took the whole exam again and that the new verification is for a June 2007 licensure.

Thanks for your reply lawrence01 and silverdragon102!!!

That is what's confusing because I only filed my visa screen certificate using the new license in June 2007. And even in the License Verification Form that was sent by the PRC in the Philippines, the license number stated there is the June 2007 license.

The only way that they would be able to see that I am from the June 2006 batch is by just looking in the internet results, since my name would still appear there. But, I think that, they should also check the results in June 2007 and see that I repeated the whole exam and not just the parts 3 & 5, which more than satisfies their requirement.

I'm sorry, it's just really frustrating that even after waiving my june 2006 license and repeating the whole exam, I still have to undergo these hardships. Even my batch mates who are in the same situation as I am right now are really frustrated.

I just emailed them just like what lawrence01 has suggested, so I am still waiting for the reply, but someone told me that I would have to request a certification from PRC to be sent to CGFNS that I waived my june 06 license. But I still don't know what kind of certification this is. If anyone could guide me to the steps and what to tell PRC so that this could be resolved immediately, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!!! God Bless!!!

Hi there. I'm also a June 2006 passer who waived my license and passed the June 2007 NLE. Worry not. All you have to do is ask for a certificate of passing from the Stateboard Verification Counter of PRC. To be sure also, get a certificate from the Customer Service, Registration Division, stating that you waived your license and passed the June 2007 NLE. This is an additional requirement on top of the usual license verification form being sent out to CGFNS by the PRC. You need to pay P75 for each certificate.

That is what I did and in 2 weeks time, I received my VSC. God bless!

Thanks a lot for your reply bebe13!!!

Just want to clarify if I have to ask PRC to send another license verification form together with the two certificates? Or just have the PRC send the two certificates since I already submitted the license verification form?

Have a great day!!! God Bless!!!

Don't worry, and just try and follow bebe13's suggestions. It could just be an innocent overlook by someone. You made the right choice of not going for the special re-take and waiving your license from the beginning.

Unfortunately, there are some who are trying to go around the special agreement and conditions of the special re-take and CGFNS/ICHP is making sure they don't circumvent it by being strict. This is like going to a gated subdivision and still being checked and scrutinized by security even though you live there. It's an inconvenience that you would like because it means they are really being strict on whom they allow to go in or not.

ok lawrence01! thanks again for the advice!!! God Bless!!!

No need to redo the license verification, just send the 2 certificates and you'll be ok. My other friend who is also in the same situation like ours did the same thing. I think it has become a requirement of CGFNS for our batch. batch.

i have done the same thing, but the problem was i didn't include my waiver, i only submitted the certificate of passing june07. is it ok?

thanks bebe13!!! you have really been a great help! i requested the two certificates and will be ready after holy week. God Bless!!!

the certificate of passing is enough i guess, i checked the status of my visascreen online and it said "Certified - Mailed Mar 21", thank God we dont have to send another letter (the waiver) to them. HTH :wink2:
