I have never heard of this agency but personally I would never go through a non-nursing agency. Other people simply do not understand the nursing environment or the special needs around it. I would be even more wary coming from overseas.
thanks djuna for the feedback!
so, what do you suggest? where and to whom i will apply for jobs in NZ?:thankya:

Hi!I am a critical care nurse here in NZ, I would advice you not to come to new zealand with an agency...You will surely regret once you are already here, its an easy process coming here as a nurse if you have a hospital experience and if you have enough money for the competency training,do visit the website of the nursing council of new zealand and from there you can start every step of the way of your application process. If u wish to know more about us nurses here u can pm me...

Hi angelNZ! I'm a foreign graduate nurse.I graduated last June 2007, I'm an RN in the Philippines and passed the nclex-RN in Ca.since retrogression is still going on,I am intersted in applying as a nurse in NZ but i don't have any hospital experience yet. Will I be eligible to apply even if i don't have hospital experince yet?I will appreciate your reply.
Hi! you can direct your inquiry to the nsg. council of new zealand, they are most helpful to answer your inquiry.i have friends here, same case with you,no hospital work experience but they some experience in other field of nsg. like industrial nsg.,private duty nsg, school nurse etc, but have been approved by the Nsg Council though some of them had days of extension from their competency training.
With regards to finding a job after passing the CAP,most of them find placements in Nsg.Homes because of the fact that they do not a hosp wok experience
I have a very important and helpful post for Filipino Nurses.PLS READ:

]Nurses to New Zealand warned vs high recruitment fees
]NZ seeks recruitment arrangement with POEA
]By Veronica
]First Posted 01:37pm (Mla time) 12/17/2007
]MANILA, Philippines -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE)
]on Monday warned Filipino nurses seeking jobs in New Zealand against
]recruitment agencies collecting exorbitant fees.
]It also urged victimized nurses to report these agencies to the
]Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) for the filing
]of appropriate charges.
]DoLE Secretary Arturo Brion issued the warning following reports that
]Filipino nurses who found jobs in New Zealand paid P500,000 to
]P700,000 to the manpower agencies that brokered their deployment and
]employment in that country.
]Aside from collecting very high fees, the recruitment agencies
]assigned the nurses to rest homes with 15 percent cuts in their
]monthly salaries, Biron added.
]The DoLE chief said the Philippine embassy in Wellington, New Zealand
]received the complaints, which have subsequently been referred to the
]POEA for the filing of charges against the agencies.
]In a related development, Brion said the Counties Manukau District
]Health Board (CMDHB) of New Zealand has proposed to recruit Filipino
]nurses in collaboration with POEA.
]He said under the proposed recruitment agreement with CMDHB, all
]nurses seeking employment in New Zealand shall be registered with the
]POEA. Those chosen shall be deployed through the POEA to CMDHB
]hospitals in New Zealand.
]The DoLE chief said this arrangement will protect the nurses from
]unscrupulous recruiters since the CMDHB shall reimburse the nurses'
]transportation cost, thus reducing the mobilization cost of the
]selected nurses to only over P8,000 each.
]Brion added that the arrangement shall allow the POEA to ensure the
]welfare of the nurses to be hired by CMDHB.
]He said the POEA shall negotiate for the nurses' repatriation
]coverage and other benefits available to overseas Filipino workers
](OFWs) from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
]He said these POEA deployment efforts may pave the way for the
]forging of a bilateral agreement between the Philippines and New
]Zealand that would provide for the employment of more Filipino nurses
]in other district health boards in this country.
]"This will not only protect the nurses from unscrupulous recruiters
]but also ensure their employment and welfare in New Zealand," Brion
]said

I agree with you Djuna thats why i signed up with iMEETS. iMEETS is a processing firm/immigration agency. They will assist you like an agency but won't be as costly. Furthermore, they are not just for nurses but they also offer migration options to other qualified candidates with a different skill depending on the needs of a particular country. Most of all, iMEETS is legit. You can even check this with the NZ embassy in Manila.

Thread moved to the International Forum per the new rules in place here.
Any post having to do with immigration or licensure questions needs to be posted on the International Forum.
We are trying to save the sub-forums for issues concerning working directly in those countries. Many of the local nurses in a country have no idea of immigration issues or licensure issues for foreign trained nurses.
Thanks for your understanding on this.
