Hi! i migrated here last year and just passed the board exam for CNA here in AZ, so i could start my career in the health care industry while working on nclex papers..Apparently AZ NCLEX is longer to process so i didn't go for it.
I'm wondering if Nevada requires the clinical cases and rle logbook in order to process the nclex application. I heard what's going on to California Board of Nursing and one of my friend got denied due to concurrent theory and practicum and I don't want to commit the same mistake. Since me and my husband's ultimate goal is to move out to Nevada soon.

Don't bother trying to get your ATT from AZ, my friend just got denied there also, same reason as in CA, the concurrency issue. There are several other states following CA's lead, NV is not one of them yet.
Check out the International forums, there's a lot of threads about applying into NV, it's a long process also.
Thanks steppybay! I'm really hoping that it's still ok at Nevada..I called them up yesterday and they said that as long i haven't completed my application to California, they will let me apply to their state but I asked the lady if they would require clinical cases and rle logbook she said she don't know and will transfer me to a person who can answer my question and apparently it's a recorded voicemail saying she will call me back, so i leave a message,my number, full name and i haven't received any call from them since yesterday.. I'm hoping that Nevada is not one of them yet. I'm upset because i paid for application for California only to find out that they deny a lot of foreign nurses so i am not going to pursue my application to California anymore. Rather I want to cancel it! I haven't submit the paperworks to California..But Nevada said it's okay to apply with them. So I'm really hoping that my nclex application will go through Nevada.
Hi, no problem, have you glanced over the International forums? Lots of good reads over there.
You might want to checkout Starleviosa threads and I think there was one other, but you can get "step=by-step" processing information for NV.
Good luck!
Cool! thanks a lot! i'm going to checkout Starleviosa threads and some international forums. I've appreciated it. I feel more positive now in pursuing my nclex papers to nevada. But i will be extra cautious on this one since i'm throwing money again, but i know it will be worth it if it all went through. =)

i have same dilemma as with the other applicants here in CA.
i applied my applications but BRN-CA was asking me additional
reqts which seemed to be the same as with the others.
I wont take my chance in CA because it's gonna be an agony for me.
i wanted to take my chance in NEVADA state..
Pls be kind enough to share ur experience in applying at BRN-NV,
it would be of great help.
BTW, i don't have my local license at the country i was educated,
do you think I would still be qualified?
