Hey everyone!! I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread dedicated to all of us starting up nursing school in May! So, when you post, tell us when you start in May, where you're going to school, and what kind of program you'll be in! I guess I'll start it off! :)
-I start May 12th...less than a month now !!
-I'm going to the University of Missouri-St. Louis

Well....I will too!!:w00t: I couldn't be more excited, especially after being out of school for 3 years now. I thought I was having a brain drain or something. :thnkg:
-I start May 27th..a little over a month now !! Time flies because I was accepted since October.
-I'm going to St. Louis University(friendlyghost07, we'll be neighbors!!)

Welcome! And congrats on getting into SLU...it's a great university that (if I could afford to go to) I would LOVE to attend. UMSL was much more affordable for me. I believe that SLU was the school that started the whole accelerated program "craze" a while back. So I'm sure they're wonderful. Get ready for some hot and humid St. Louis weather, though...summers here are pretty warm! And winters are very cold haha. I hope you come to love St. Louis. I've lived here my whole life and couldn't see myself being anywhere else! If you have ANY questions at all about Missouri, let me know! Who knows, maybe we will run into one another at one of the hospitals while doing clinicals! :) Have a great day!!
Yay! I JUST got accepted (got a letter AND a phone call today!) to University of South Florida's College of Nursing!
Start: sometime in May, as they have not told me anything >_
BUT I'm sooo excited, seeing it as I've been trying to get into that program for about two years! I got accepted to Hillsborough Community College (for ASN) but I think the BSN at USF will get me where I want to be in the future (CRNA! YA!).
Congratulations to everyone starting this year! And good luck to everyone on finals and prereqs! :)

Loans is how i'm financing, ALL, loans. Sad but true.
Can't wait to start though.
It'll be all worth it I'm sure! I've gotta use basically ALL loans as well...sucks but that's why I'm gonna make sure to find a place that offers to pay off loans! :)haha
