  2. I just finished my final exam for the first semester of NS,it has been stressful road but i made it through(with the God on my side)not ready for Med Surg I hear that is the hardest semester excited and nervous but thank God I made it through and moving on. I'm going to take sometime and spend with my family and relax while I have this month and a half break. Congradulations to everyone that has finished fundamentals!!!!
  3. Thou shall not hide in a resident's room pretending to do care when trays are coming out. Thou shall not walk in the hall talking on your cellphone. Thou shall not stand there talking while trays are being passed. Thou shalll not get missing for 20 minutes and come back and say you are taking your lunch break.
  4. I failed fundamentals my first semester. Has anyone failed their first semester in nursing school and felt so bad. That is the way i'm feeling.I has so much confidence inmyself when i started nursing school. And now I'm doubting myself. I have been trying to get in nursing school for 5 years and now that I finally got accepted and failed on my first semester I feel like I let myself and everyone down. I am determined to continue, I know now what my mistakes were. I will study more and I see now what every nursing student meant when they said that u have to cut off the world and put 100% into nursing. I was trying to do to much for everyone else and not studying like I should. The second time around I will study more, read more, be prepared, on time and make friends the second year.
  5. I start Monday also, I am so excited and nervous. This has been along journey for me and now it is finally here. I have been keeping myself busy by taking a summer class and organizing my home to make things easier for my early morning class 8:30 such as organizing my closet and ironing my clothes for the week. I work this weekend and that will also distract me from all the excitement of starting ns. I can't wait to get started, I know I will not be saying the same a few weeks from now( as alot of 2nd semester nursing students have informed me) but i'm looking forward to all the challenges of ns.
  6. Congradulations to everyone!! I have orientation May 20, start ns Aug 18, community college in Charlotte NC, 2 year ADN program. I am so excited:yeah:
