My question to all of you that applied for this year, what is your GPA?I am trying to find out how competitive the program is this year. The waiting game on the acceptance letter is killing me and I have heard we wont find out til end of March.
My GPA for the pre-req courses is a 3.0 . I know that is not the best, but I have a friend that goes there and her GPA was lower than mine, and she was admitted to the nursing program this past fall.
Has anyone here ever been in a nursing program before? I've been checking the mail religiously every day I get home from work! The waiting for the letters is the worst!
Yep! I called around 3 this afternoon and asked if she knew when letters were being sent out and she said they sent them this morning. I asked her if she could tell me over the phone and she said no. So, we should all know something tomorrow or Thursday!!!!!!!

Awesome! I actually got my Financial aid letters from NIU within a day or two last time they said it mailed it, so hopefully by Friday we'll all know. Thx for the heads up KareBear your info has been awesome. And good luck to everyone!
Hollar! - if the letters have been mailed out - has anyone's "MY NIU" status changed? I always thought that we would see that first - just wondering.....
