FNU Class 146

Published

I have applied for FNU Class 146, and now I am in the waiting game to see if I get accepted. I know they tell you they let you know 6-8 weeks before Frontier Bound date, but I was wondering if they do let you know earlier? What has others experienced? Is there anyone else waiting? Thanks everyone!!!

Hey Everybody! I'm also in that waiting game for Class 146! 😬 I also emailed about the change of date and also asked if we would find out 6-8 weeks from the changed date. They replied and said we should find out within a couple of weeks and I received that email on 11/30. So we definitely should know before Christmas! Good Luck everybody! I hope/pray we all get in! 🙂

Hi and welcome on board Nakeia! Hm, interesting they said that! In the reply I got today (from the email I sent yesterday) she had stated it should be 6-8 weeks out from the changed FB date (March 7). I like the answer they gave you more though and hope that's the case that way we don't have to wait too, too long!

I was really hoping to find out if we got in December. The other two schools I am considering are local state schools but they require the GRE exam. I don't really want to take that test if I don't have to. But if I don't take it and wait til March on FNU I will miss deadline for my backup schools.

Mandy,

That's exactly why I applied to the two other school's as back up now, so that I didn't miss the deadline just in case. Although, I hear ya, I wouldn't want to take the GRE either (luckily the two other school's didn't require it). I really hope we find out this month too!

Has anyone considered Simmons? I have spoke with the admissions advisors and they are so quick to answer questions and very helpful. They have live lectures and assist with clinical placement. But their program is very expensive. So torn on where to apply to as my back up school.

I looked at Simmons a while back and decided not to apply due to how much they cost. I have heard it's an excellent program though and sought after. I applied to SUNY Stony Brook (a more local, state school) and to Olivet Nazarene University (another good, accredited, distance program). I will hear from Olivet first before FNU and SB. Decisions will be tough since each of the three schools has some great things about them, but I still hold FNU as first choice. I originally was only going to apply to FNU, but after speaking with a co-worker (a CRNA), he said when he applied to CRNA school he made sure he applied to several so he had more choices and more of a chance to get accepted. I figured, eh can't hurt!

Checking my email again :) the anticipation is killing me. So wish we would find out soon

LOL I know! I now find myself checking several times a day in hopes of seeing that one email. The rest of this month are going to be difficult, the wait is not that easy!! Luckily, the holidays are almost here and that should keep us all busy for a little bit. :)
