  1. Frontier Nursing University is a great program
  2. The email said respond by Dec 23 to accept your admission
  3. Is there a Facebook group yet for the FNP class
  4. I feel like I will be behind since I have been in public health for so long. I wonder if there is anything I could start reviewing.
  5. I got my acceptance letter today so exciting!! we should connect via Facebook if anyone is interested.
  6. Checking my email again :) the anticipation is killing me. So wish we would find out soon
  7. Has anyone considered Simmons? I have spoke with the admissions advisors and they are so quick to answer questions and very helpful. They have live lectures and assist with clinical placement. But their program is very expensive. So torn on where to apply to as my back up school.
  8. I was really hoping to find out if we got in December. The other two schools I am considering are local state schools but they require the GRE exam. I don't really want to take that test if I don't have to. But if I don't take it and wait til March on FNU I will miss deadline for my backup schools.
  9. She didn't specify if the date for admission notification would change but I would assume it will.
  10. So I received an email back and indeed the bound date has been changed to March 7. She said last year a severe snow storm hit in February and due to the remote mountainous location of the school travel was hazardous.
  11. I sent an email I will update as soon as I hear anything.
  12. I also applied to class 146 FNP. Has anyone heard of a definite date change for FB from the school? Seems like we would have been notified. I may send an email and ask
  13. Hey ladies I am in GA ti looking at all the options for FNP is so overwhelming. I am applying to Frontier but seeing so many on the wait list I have decided to apply at local university to. I had never heard of GA SWU.
  14. Lake emerald I am sorry I couldn't reply to your private message I guess I haven't posted enough to PM. I ended up dropping UTA aalgebra last spring and took it this summer at a local community college. I am now enrolled in UTA stats and it is the same format as 1302. I am not happy but I have to try and finish it so I can graduate and be done with UTA.
  15. You must utilize Proctor U which is an online service that basically monitors you via webcam while you test. You pay for each unit test and the final. The price varies depending on how far in advance you book your testing time and how long you take to complete the test. You must show picture ID before you test, show your environment to your proctor like scan the room you are in with your webcam. You can not have any background noise at ALL or they will stop your test and you may not get up during your test. They allow scratch paper to work problems out but you must show the paper to the proctor person before you begin your test so they know you don't have notes etc written down. You are permitted 1 3x5 note card for formulas. I was quite aggravated with the process along with the large volume of homework required for math 1302 so I dropped the class at UTA and completed it at a community college. So I log on today to Math 1308 stats at UTA to find out the format is now exactly like math 1302 proctoring and all.
