It's kind of strange that they didn't notify us of the change in FB dates, don't you think? Although maybe not, it's not like we know if we need to plan yet anyway...

Here's to hoping they notify us of our status in December anyway! :)

I hope we still all hear in December as well, but I guess we will all see when the time comes. The waiting is never easy, but not much we can do about that.

I also applied to class 146 FNP. Has anyone heard of a definite date change for FB from the school? Seems like we would have been notified. I may send an email and ask

Ah good, you found this! It seems like no one received an email about the change of the FB dates, probably something the school isn't required to do when they make a change like that (would've been nice to be notified though). I am curious to see what they say in their reply to your email (or can make a quick phone call), let us know! :)

So I received an email back and indeed the bound date has been changed to March 7. She said last year a severe snow storm hit in February and due to the remote mountainous location of the school travel was hazardous.

Did she give any clues as to when we may hear back about acceptance? I wonder if this is also pushed out to reflect the same 6-8 week before FB timeline.

She didn't specify if the date for admission notification would change but I would assume it will.

Yup, sounds like a legitimate reason to move the date back. Thanks for letting us know! I went ahead and sent an email asking if the notification time will be the same as if the date hadn't been changed or still be 6-8 weeks out from the FB date we have now. I was just told that it will still be the 6-8 weeks out from the FB date (of March 7). I'm hoping we hear something in January. Another curious question: Has everyone here applied to more than one school as a back up or only FNU?

Oy, I'm glad you asked but I wish they had given a different answer . I did not apply anywhere else! I was thinking about that recently, but I goes if I don't get in I'll apply elsewhere then. I didn't find anywhere else I really liked as well! Did you apply anywhere else?

I applied to two more schools as #2 and #3 as back ups (will hear from all around the same time as FNU), but FNU is 100% my top first choice (crossing my fingers)! I know once January hits I will be all antsy with waiting to hear something!
