Nova Southeastern University Entry Level BSN?

Hi everyone! Just wanted to know if there is anyone who has applied to NSU's Entry Level BSN program RECENTLY and got in. I want to apply for Fall 2013's program. What was your GPA when you applied, how hard was it do you think to get in overall, just any personal experiences with your application journey.

I have a 3.691 currently and have taken Anatomy 1 & 2 with labs and got A's. Now I'm taking Microbiology and getting a B currently, will I be okay? Still have Chemistry and Human Growth and Dev. to take in the spring.

Not at all. They're all job interview based questions. You'll do fine don't worry.

Well that's really good if that is all you have left. kudos! I wanted to ask you if you think the patch for the labcoat for students in the miami/kendall campus are different from those of the main campus. I went to the uniform store today on Broward blvd and they do the labcoats wayyy cheaper than the NSU bookstore but they did it for main campus students, so i'm just wondering if it's the same.

How did the interview go??

The interview i think went pretty okay, i was a little intimidated at first because its 5 people asking you questions and they are all there to represent different parts of the hospital, i was there for about 30 min and the questions were very general, work type questions. Nothing really difficult to answer. Im sure everyone will do fine, i asked the lady how long till we would find out and ahe told me they had just started interviews on that wednesday (the day before my interview) so they still have about 100 students to interview and that we would receive something in the mail letting us know!

Ive been hearing alot from different people that we wont have the math course this semester, they were going to remove it and also that we wouldnt be having to drive to davie.. Im not sure if any of this information is true, does anyone know?? And i know they were trying to create a bus system to go to the davie campus from kendall but confusingly enough they only had a shuttle that would take you to the campus and not one to bring you back! o.O weird! So hopefully they get that fixed and that way we can just use the shuttle to go back and forth from campuses that would be a great resource!! I hope they fix that ASAP!

You have to wear white shoes. You will have to go to davie campus 3 days a week for A&P anyway and there is a store on broward and 70th just east of university that does the scrubs cheap. They know what and how the embroidery needs to be as well. Also make sure to get the lab coat because you will need it for classes.

Thanks for all of your tips! I will definitely be purchasing the physio book soon.. As far as the anatomy book.. You said the professor gives us the info for that book the first day of class? I really dont want to wait for any books because that will already put me behind! Thanks again :)

Well im not really sure, i would assume different schools since the scholarship is also done with barry and miami dade.

Okay thanks.It might be Nova is the first group of students being interviewed. Wow so many! Am kinda scared since I haven't turned in the application yet. Hopefully they call me fast for the interview.

Yes the patches for the lab coats are the same regardless of campus so go to the store on broward it is much cheaper. Hopefully they do get rid of math because it is a nonsense class. Kendall campus students will ave to come to davie 3 days a week for A&P but i did hear they were trying to get a bus as well.
