Hey y’all!! I’m taking prerequisites and I’m hoping to apply by May 2022 Lord willing. I noticed that the previous program started a post and figured why not get one started for the next class. I’ll update this post when I apply and if/when I get accepted.
How long have you been a lpn Silvia? For me lpn school was hard and I didn’t think I learned much but I passed NCLEX and found it very easy. I think we know more than we give ourselves confidence for and you didn’t work that hard to have to start from scratch you are already a nurse.
I am using the TEAS book and khan academy for math. Time goes by fast and even faster in a program you got this

Oh! I wasn’t expecting a fast response LOL I have been a nurse since 03/2021 so almost a year.
I understand, but I knew I missed simple questions on my NCLEX. I would like to brush up on some concepts, but also don’t want to wait a whole extra semester to graduate. I’m conflicted LOL!
Okay! IDK if you have the choice but I say no not only are you going to learn a whole new scope but like I said you know more than you give yourself credit for and what is you choices for the program? I finished July 2020. Lee anew, Collier, Charlotte are my picks. Do you have all the prerequisites done or just the 4 to get in?
Me too in nutrition right now trying to keep an A or B ? to stay at my 3.5 or higher GPA. I was reading old posts looks like you don’t even know till late June ? since apps close May 15th so far away but more time to practice some basic math stuff. Might ask on last semester post what to study see if anyone responds.

I’m in A&PII, I’m going to wait until final grades are posted before I send my application. I think it’s posted by April 29 (not certain). Ill start practicing the math until late March LOL so it could be fresh ???.
yessss find out, please!! I keep searching and they’re saying Youtube ??♀️. I sort of want example problems so I can focus on them.
Yes me too! They don’t give much detail as to what it was really on or interview style questions. You can still apply before final grades they don’t check till the Spring semester is over applying early just puts you at the top of the queue for when they start reviewing applications in May. That’s why it’s in May application closes for the semester grades to be finalized and they pull your name up from the system if not from fsw than transcripts to be sent but you can apply when it opens.

Maybe they’ve been told not to share anything ??♀️. I’ve had people tell me, it’s easy and I’m like so what’s in it LOL.
Wow! Thanks for telling! I would have been waiting to apply LOL.
@Nursing_journey I applied back in March too! My first choice was Lee days, what was yours? ?

I am trying to decided if I should apply as an LPN. I feel as though I didn’t learn much in LPN school, so should I do the first semester which includes Fundamentals I, Health assessment, and Intro to Pharm. or dive right into Fundamentals II?
