Hey y’all!! I’m taking prerequisites and I’m hoping to apply by May 2022 Lord willing. I noticed that the previous program started a post and figured why not get one started for the next class. I’ll update this post when I apply and if/when I get accepted.
Ohhh dang! Yea IDK why they changed it to 3 years and not the 5 anymore. Congratulations! I wanted to be sure to get an A in nutrition and work a lot so I just kept this one for now but in Summer I will take my last 4 needed for the BSN stats, comp 2, Intro to Humanaties that will satisfy both the Writting extra needed, Speech. I don’t want to take nothing but nursing program classes while in the program LOL so even tho the prerequisites weren’t required just 4 now I did all. Feb 1st opens scholarships so if you go on the site and just apply they will keep it active all year and automatically submit you for whatever you qualify for so keep an eye on that. I suck at math so nervous about if I get in that test ?.

Hii Silvia!! Awww man. You mentioned bridge, so you must be an LPN. I would probably try to find out the actual schedules for both and then make a decision. Even though nothing ever stays the same when it comes to nursing schedules but I think knowing would help. I personally would probably pick ANEW.
I don’t remember if the ANEW is five days a week but I know they have some weekends included in that program. Also, I read on facebook that if you’re in the day program, the days vary (ex: class/lecture on Monday and Tuesday and clinical on Thursday) so I’m assuming it would be the same for ANEW.
Yes all programs classes can be Mon-Fri everyday or once a week ect but be available all times for the anew since they have one weekend day a week for clinicals the day is between 6-4:30 be open for clinicals as early as 7am. The good thing is your schedule is the schedule for the semester 4 months if your job willing to work with you. Are you all LPN’s more than the 3 years? I am only 1 year in and wanted to know if I’m joining 2nd semester and only looking at 3 semesters being a year and 4 months instead of the 24 am I joining the group that’s there now as they will be in second semester in August. My only advice is luckily as a lpn there is agency which is all I do and have been doing. For my 3yr old being a single mom I have to be flexible and contract local travel allows that and school will be our out to more money and freedom. Trust I know it’s hard money wise but if anyone needs help with contracts and finding agency’s for work I’ll help but make work around your school schedule not the other way around.

Completely agree! If you get accepted into the Fall program and say I get accepted too, you wouldnt be joining the class until 2nd semester. I don’t think it would make the amount of time less because you’d still be graduating with me. Does that make sense?.
I’ve been an LPN for 4yrs and I’m looking into getting experience in the acute care setting. Lee health just started hiring LPNs in the hospital again and I’ll be looking into that. I think they’d be flexible but I believe I must still work FT. Honestly it’s the only thing holding me back from not applying since I don’t know if I’ll be able to work FT and be a nursing student FT.
It’s nice that you work for an agency that will work around your school schedule.
Hi ! Sorry took so long to respond was waiting on the nursing advisor for all 3 campuses to get back to me. So what I said was correct if you are a lpn with 3yrs or less active nursing license and get accepted into the fall (Aug) 2022 class you will be joining the current class that started in Jan 2022 which will be 2nd semester. We as LPNS get credit for the first semester skipping nursing fundamentals I and pharm I essentially. With joining the previous semester group grad date would be Dec 2023. So no I would not be in your graduating class. Per the nursing advisor for fsw all locations. Which makes sense because the credit as an LPN is 1 semester so it’s a 3 semester long program vs 4. With that it’s 16mnths counting Summer which there is no school long. If an LPN for more than 3yrs grad date is Aug 2024 making is 24months counting Summer that there is no school totaling 4 semesters. I hope that helps ?

I’m aiming for Lee anew or Charlotte anew. Unfortunately, I’ve been an LPN longer than 3 yrs ?. I’ve completed all the required prereps for the program ?. I’m currently taking classes towards the BSN program.
