Anyone has taken the TEAS?

I had to take it AFTER I was accepted to our nursing program. Honestly it is fundamental math, up to algebra and then some reading comprehension. Brush up on your basic math skills and you'll be fine. Hit the bookstore and get a study guide.

hi nrs, really. i am having a hard time with algebra, and some of the fractions i.e, dividing them w/ different denominator. it really confuses me. then for the language part its just those apostrophes, like i.e, jill's car or the girls' team.

reading i'm fine with it i tested myself and scored a high score, not worried.

please help, my test is on wed.02/07/2007, and they will give me the grade that day!

:uhoh3: i'm so stressed! i don't know when i took the nln, which is suppose to be harder i passed it, but the math was not like the teas, it was basic math. if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated!

Know your math conversions--how many cups in a pint? pints in quart? quart in a gallon? kilograms to pounds? Things like that. I was shaky in that area.

So I should'nt stress Algebra, that I totally forgot it really, I have two mare days for my test. I am so nervous, especially if they grade you.

Don't be nervous, did you get a study guide, they break it down really well for you. I got one for when I took the net test and essentially it is the same stuff. I am happy however I didn't have to take the test until AFTER I was accepted. So far so good, just tough balancing life.

Let me see if I can give you and example.

1/5 / 1/2 (1/5 divided by 1/2)

Take the 1/2 and flip it so it is 2/1 the multiply straight across.

so 1/5 X 2/1 = 2/5

Can you give me a example?

thank you guys, i really appreciate it. tomorrow is my teas exam finally. i am so scared, i get the results tomorrow right after i complete the exam. need to get a 70 percent. well i will let you know tomorrow.

did you end up taking the test??how did u do? i take the test probably within the next month and started to study a few days ago. any advice would be greatly appreciated!!:)
