Here's a thread for those of us applying to FIU's CRNA program for Spring of 2025. Good luck to everyone!

in moments like these, stressfully awaiting a decision from someone about my future, I always think back to Lisa Kudrow's Emmy award acceptance speech - she said she was fired from Frazier and was at the lowest point in her life only to then get her role as Phoebe on Friends. Meaning, something greater will come and don't be disappointed by the current decisions that are made for you.

I haven't received an email invite for an interview so I'm assuming at this point it's a No.

I just received my official rejection letter.  They said they had 518 applicants this cycle.

I'm sorry to hear. That's an insane number of applicants for such limited seats 😔

I just got an email from FIU and unfortunately all the interview invites have been sent. She said to check your junk mail!

Does anyone have any incite as to how the interview will be and what we should study ?

Some people have given some good advice earlier in the thread! Since this interview style is different from previous years, no one really knows what to expect. I'm just going based off of what they explained in the invite email. 😕

Hey everyone, how are you guys feeling as the interview dates approaching? I am scheduled for May 9th in the afternoon. So nervous and excited at the same time. What have you guys been reviewing?

tbh this year is going to be completely different. I think they have high attrition rate the past graduating cohort so they were trying to do something different during the interview. 😞 I just brushed up my CCRN book. I'm nervous and I also talked to one of the first year SRNA and she told me she only got one question in the interview. Good luck!
