Unsure, but possibly... people that have 1-2 years may not be as competitive when compared to someone who has 5+ years, but a lot of that also depends on your unit and the level trauma hospital you are at. They didn't really ask me about that, just "Which units did you work in?" and "How many years did you work in the ICU there?"
I had the exact same reaction. Wasn't sure if I sold myself enough and like I said too much and not enough all at the same time. BUT at least we'll all know next week! I didn't feel as drained like UM so either way it's a plus! Like others said, I guess it's all points. Definitely felt like just checking boxes a little. I also thought he was going to be more peppy like the video haha

I was hoping to interview with Valdes for that exact reason ?
Do we know how quickly we have to accept or deny admission once offered a spot? That's one of the questions I forgot to ask
guys I honestly don't know what to say, I'm SO disappointed in myself, I got everything PERFECT until the clinical situation I said the right pathophysiology diagnosis but completely brain farted on the other piece of the clinical question. If I didn't mess this up truth be told I would feel amazing about my interview and that I probably got one of the 45. Truth be told I still feel somewhat okay but that one thing has me convinced I might as well be taken out of the 150 for the 45 seats. FIU is my top choice
I guess there's always next year.
From the trenches,
KC ? ?

Whoa, don't count yourself out yet ? what was the clinical question? And what's your GPA if you don't mind me asking!

I'm relieved we're all feeling meh about the interview ? my interview also felt very basic... I honestly feel like I wasn't able to sell myself as much as I'd like, but I guess we'll see ?
