Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences online BSN?

Published

I'm applying to this school and I'm wondering if anyone that is a current or former student can give me a general idea of what to expect, such as how exams are taken, workload, which courses were more difficult, etc? What did you think of the program overall?

I'm thinking I'll be ok once I finish statistics but I'd like to speak with anyone willing to share. Thank you!

Thank you for your response. I wasn't sure anyone would . I'll certainly keep you in mind, should I need some help.

Thanks again.

:yeah:It sure is nice to hear from all the students in the program! Just wanted to post the website incase anyone needed more info:

Have a blessed day! :nurse:

Have you had to do a "project" yet? If so, I'd like to know what the project was and how were you able to accomplish it.

Thanks for information you can pass along.

Being a limited acceptance program, has anyone told about statistics of admissions, i.e. GPA, years of experience, how many apply or how many get accepted?

Thanks.

Not sure about all, but I do know you have to have chemistry and religion credits, but FastWeb is pretty cool and has the stats for that particular school, GPA, accepted, etc.

Most of my co-workers got accepted into the program. Like I stated before, it is not easy, but doable. If you are a RN, you shoudn't have a problem getting accepted. 69 of my credit was accepted into the program, but I received my AAS in 2006. Some of my co-workers who graduated many years ago, had to retake or take some new classes, so less of their classes were accepted into the program. I really like it though. Hope this help.

I am in an ADN program now, have my AA, AS in EMS, and a 3.4ish GPA with good sciences like Org I and II, Biochem...etc. Just was curious about the acceptance. Looking to go right in after my ADN program so I was curious how competitive the program was.

Thanks for those who replied.

Well this is an old thread but I am interested in talking to anyone in the program now. I enrolled last Fall and just would like to talk to people that have recently graduated or are still attending and have any "pearls" of wisdom about what to take, not to take together, hints, etc. I really like the program so far but am starting the Nursing classes this summer. I want to finish soon but don't want to overwhelm myself. Let me know if anyone wants to give their input! Thanks!
