I don't understand some people just completely disregard the fact that flirting is distracting and unwelcomed!?!?!?
I take it seriously do I need to chill out or what ???

I sometimes catch myself doing this. It's really unprofessional and not excusable, I can only imagine it makes people feel awkward/uncomfortable. :/
I really dislike flirting at the work place its distracting and unprofessional . There are some co- workers that have reputations of being flirts where I work.

Unprofessional true, but sometimes not harmful.

Nothing wrong with a little flirting at work.:wink2:....so long as its not too "heavy" such as dirty /inappropriate words, in the presents of patients/work station, no making out or grabing a** or things like that...
Bottom line if it makes anyone uncomfortable, or if it affecting the quality of patients' care, then it needs to stop. Otherwise I think it makes things easier. I flirt with a lot of doctors, they get friendlier with you, I get what I want for my patients and I don't get yelled at when I call them at lets say 2 Am

Atta girl, flattery or in this case flirting gets you everywhere.
Love it!!
There is a particular person at my work that really gets to me and sometimes I know he is serious with the flirting ,and then will claim he is with someone ........ its throwing me off with work and my life at home !
Ooooohhh!!! so it was YOU you were refering to. You 1st post was vauge. In your case its not flirting...its sexual harrasment!! and its aginst the law. If you are not "welcoming" the "flirting" but he keeps it up anyway,to the point is affecting your job, report him immediatley. Put an end to that crap. I knew a girl at my hospital who was constantly harrassed by this guy and she ended up quiting! While he works on and she is jobless. Don't put you self, family, profession and patients through this when you don't have to!
Srry * about the title I just realized I totally screwed up the title!?!?!
