FIU Nursing 2015

Hey guys! So I'm super nervous about applying to FIU because I don't think my GPA is all that great. :/ I didn't do well my first semester there so that brought my GPA doooown. Currently I have a 3.6 overall and a 3.5 science (which is really bad...I finished all of my science classes last semester). Hopefully by the end of this spring semester my overall will be at a 3.7. I do not have volunteer hours but I have been shadowing at a hospital (which I prefer because I had a bad experience volunteering lol). I'm taking the TEAS at the end of this month and I'm studying super hard for it right now >__<. if you guys have any good study tips on how to do well the teas that would be greatly appreciated too for those already in program or graduated from what think my chances are advice is great thank so much>

How did you turn in the application? Lol like in a little envelope or a big one?

I'm so nervous I can't even decide on am envelope 😂😂✉

I feel like I'm not gonna get accepted )): because my shadowing hours didn't reach the requirement so I'm freaking out because I have nothing from the extra curricular portion )):

Neither do I. I only have my GPA going for me lol and FIU is the only school I have left. So im really hoping I get accepted :(

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone knows when we get notification if we get accepted or not? Is it in may or late april? Every time I get an e-mail notification on my phone my heart drops lol.

They told me last two weeks of May or first week of June but hopefully it will be earlier! She also told me it was by mail, but I saw threads from last year that it was through email. Does anyone know how to access the FIU email?! or panther email whatever it is. On my application I just put my regular email cause I couldn't figure it out.

thank you @ashtay06! i know people who got their acceptance through e-mail as well.

i don't know about the fiu e-mail, but i found this: "All students enrolled at FIU and taking at least one course in the current semester will automatically have access to an E-mail account. If you are a new student, your FIU E-mail account will be available 24 hours after you register." i guess you have to be a registered student?

I called about having an email from fiu and they said you only get an email if you are currently enrolled in classes!

@ashtay06 i am an fiu student, but i am sure they would contact you through your regular if that is what you put down in contacts.
