FIU Nursing 2015

Hey guys! So I'm super nervous about applying to FIU because I don't think my GPA is all that great. :/ I didn't do well my first semester there so that brought my GPA doooown. Currently I have a 3.6 overall and a 3.5 science (which is really bad...I finished all of my science classes last semester). Hopefully by the end of this spring semester my overall will be at a 3.7. I do not have volunteer hours but I have been shadowing at a hospital (which I prefer because I had a bad experience volunteering lol). I'm taking the TEAS at the end of this month and I'm studying super hard for it right now >__<. if you guys have any good study tips on how to do well the teas that would be greatly appreciated too for those already in program or graduated from what think my chances are advice is great thank so much>

What school are you applying to?

Just FIU and Broward College. Hbu?

I'm applying to fiu and nova.. maybe Dade.

You guys sound so cute complimenting each other, what a positive atmosphere. hehe.

3.7+ is what you need to be considered competitive. so you guys are fine. I went to dade and am an RN. But i started at fiu, problem is that fiu program is not as big as it should be for that huge school.

Yeah I think they are taking 100 students this year. But so many people apply...

I would apply to dade but I want to get my BSN right away.

How is the program at Dade? I want to apply there too but I'm not sure about getting an ADN to then have to continue for a BSN

Hey! I re took it today and got a 79. Hoping that's good enough as well lol. How did you do on the science?

I got an 81 on the science.. I'm happy with my score but I'm still scared it won't be good enough

hey guys! I applied to FIU and now just waiting for a response. only have a 3.5 GPA and an 86 TEAS.. Not sure how competitive FIU is but I know how competitive every other school is. Anyone know the average stats they want? When do you think they will let us know? I also was wondering if anyone can help me accessing the FIU email, I searched for it but don't know how to log in anywhere!
