FIU Nursing 2015

Hey guys! So I'm super nervous about applying to FIU because I don't think my GPA is all that great. :/ I didn't do well my first semester there so that brought my GPA doooown. Currently I have a 3.6 overall and a 3.5 science (which is really bad...I finished all of my science classes last semester). Hopefully by the end of this spring semester my overall will be at a 3.7. I do not have volunteer hours but I have been shadowing at a hospital (which I prefer because I had a bad experience volunteering lol). I'm taking the TEAS at the end of this month and I'm studying super hard for it right now >__<. if you guys have any good study tips on how to do well the teas that would be greatly appreciated too for those already in program or graduated from what think my chances are advice is great thank so much>

Mine was $122 because I bought immunization, finger prints and drug testing all together lol.

So I just realized my cpr card isn't bls so I have to get that done when I get back. I emailed the guy but he hasn't gotten back to me yet :/ do you guys know if there are still available dates after the 10th?

I just did a private lesson yesterday, the guy came to my house and it was $45. And it's the AHA BLS. My card is going to be mailed to me in a few days. Let me know if you want his name!

i did my finger print a week a go, and its still saying in progress. Did anybody else fingerprint check take this long?

Hello Future Classmates,

Congrats again on the acceptance. Quick question: By what date do we have to be fully compliant with American Databank (Complio)? The email said the 30th of June, but with appointments, titers, follow-up vaccines, and CPR class, that date seems pretty unrealistic and i haven't received a new email with a new due date. Anyone have gotten any information on this? Much appreciated.
